Bellingham community night will feature the BHS Band, grades 8-12 playing the National Anthem as the Bellingham Police & Fire Honor Guard presents the colors. This will be a special night for all of us and you won’t want to miss it!

A warm welcome to our new BMS Band Director Mr. Albro! Mr. Albro takes the place of Mr. MacDonald who has moved to a high school band director position in a nearby district. We will miss him and wish him the best.

Please welcome Mr. Albro as a new faculty member, we are very fortunate to have him joining our music team.

🇺🇸 What an Incredible Night! 🎆❤️

A huge THANK YOU to all of our amazing volunteers who gave their time and energy to work the concession stand during the Fourth of July concerts and fireworks!

The turnout was beyond anything we could have imagined—and thanks to this incredible community, we sold out of everything!

🌭 275 hamburgers
🌭 150 hot dogs
🥖 80 sausage grinders
🥤 Countless drinks and snacks!

None of this would have been possible without your dedication, teamwork, and smiles throughout the evening. Whether you grilled, served, stocked, cleaned, or helped behind the scenes, your hard work made this event a tremendous success.

Most importantly, every dollar raised will directly support our music program. Because of your efforts, our students will have more opportunities, more resources, and even richer musical experiences.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making a difference and helping keep music thriving in our schools! 🎶💙

Bellingham Music Summer Music Camp registration reminder! This is a day camp for Bellingham students interested in having their students continue to play or sing music during summer break. We are running camp Monday - Thursday, June 29 - July 1st, 8 am to Noon at BHS.

We are honored to be a recipient of this meaningful donation from the Ian Shumaker Foundation. Ian’s love of music lives on with our scholarship programs and enrichment programs. This summer, 3 scholarships were awarded in Ian’s name to attend the Foxboro Jazz Improvisation Workshop. Thank you again to the Ian Shumaker Foundation and their donors and supporters.

It is with immense pride and heartfelt gratitude that the Ian Shumaker Foundation had the privilege of donating $3000 to the Bellingham Friends Of Music this year. When Ian joined the Bellingham music department, he discovered his true passion and found his happy place. Our family will forever be indebted to the life-changing experiences, friendships, and opportunities that flourished through the music program. Our mission is to nurture this love and enthusiasm of music for future students within the Bellingham school system. Congratulations to Landon Egan, the 2026 Paul M. Alberta Scholarship recipient!

Landon Egan attended and graduated Bellingham High School. He will be attending the University of New Hampshire in the fall studying Music Education.
