Friends of the FRC - Family Resource Center ladies—we love you! 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿, 𝘄𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 $𝟳,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗳 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗞𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗦—𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗱.

Friends of the FRC supports Family Resource Centers at Bellingham Public Schools by helping meet basic needs of students and their families. Dedicated volunteers help those facing health challenges or loss of jobs, housing, or healthcare, as well as students who are alone or fleeing difficult situations.

Currently supporting 169 families, their need is big. From essential personal care items—like detergent, diapers, and hygiene products—to household goods, clothing, food, housing, transportation, and healthcare support, we are honored to help fill the shelves and gaps. Thank you, Friends of the Family Resource Center, for your kindness and support so these students and families can not only survive, but thrive. Barron KARES is featuring Friends of the FRC - Family Resource Center for the month of April—an organization that supports Family Resource Centers at Bellingham Public Schools by helping meet basic needs of students and their families. Dedicated volunteers support those who are experiencing health challenges or loss of employment, housing, or healthcare, as well as students who are “unaccompanied minors” or from other countries, fleeing war, violence, and more.

Initially providing Family Resource Centers with essential personal care items—like detergent, diapers, and hygiene products—that aren’t covered by food stamps or typically available at food banks, Friends of the FRC has since expanded to meet a wider range of basic needs, including household goods, clothing, food, housing, transportation, and healthcare support.

Thank you, Friends of the Family Resource Center, for your kindness and support so these students and families can not only survive, but thrive. The Friends of the FRC are absolutely thrilled to partner with Barron Home Services throughout the month of April!
Each month Barron chooses a local non-profit to support through their giveback program called Barron Kares, and in April the FFRC will be their proud partner.

As 2025 comes to a close, please consider making a donation to our Fill the Shelves campaign. To date, we have raised $4,457 of our $10,000 goal. This campaign will run to the middle of January 2026.
