Day 26🎉 of 100 Days of Trans Solidarity!
Members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community face heightened mental health challenges due to discrimination and violence. Discrimination heightens depression, anxiety, trauma responses, and toxic stress. Stress affects virtually every system of the body, which means discrimination harms people both mentally and physically. This contributes to health inequity for marginalized communities—and shows why joy, rest, and safety are important parts of trans healthcare.

Day 26 Activities!
Give: Donate to TGE and 2SLGBTQIA+ organizations who directly bring together our community and offer support groups for anyone in need of help. Check out any of our previous 100 DTS posts to see our partners and friends in this space who are doing amazing work.
Act: Send this post to someone who could benefit from finding ways to center joy in times of distress. You could offer to have a phone call with them if they want support.
Care: Create a self-care plan that will bring you joy and connection with others. Make a time to engage in your self-care plan for next week and write down how it made you feel and what you'd like to do differently next time.
