Hey everyone! Have you ever wanted to try hockey? Now’s your chance! Join us for Try Hockey for Free on Sunday, August 23.

The best part? It’s completely FREE!

Don’t have hockey gear? No problem, we have everything you need. All you have to do is sign up, show up and get ready to have fun on the ice!

You’ll learn some basics, play games, meet new friends, and see why we love hockey!

🥇 Did Team USA's gold medal light a fire in your little hockey fan? Then we have the perfect event for you.

The Jr Blazers are hosting a Try Hockey for Free event on August 23 from 11:30am–12:30pm at Bellingham Sportsplex, led by WCAHA coaches and open to kids ages 4–10. No gear, no experience, no pressure. Just a chance to experience the fastest game in town firsthand.

Skates, sticks, and pucks are provided. Full hockey equipment is available for the first 60 kids to check in so register now at https://whatcomhockey.com/club/tryhockeyfree.

Advance registration is required, no same-day sign-up. See you at the rink!

Our first golf tournament is officially in the books! WCAHA hit the course for a day of great golf, all to support youth hockey scholarships. Here's the recap—the highlights, the champions, and a big thank-you to the sponsors who helped launch this new tradition.

Hey hockey families! A few quick reminders as we head into the coming season:

🐦 Early bird pricing ends soon! Registration fees go up $250 starting August 15 for everyone EXCEPT for the intramural Spark program. Register now to lock in the lower rate at https://whatcomhockey.com/club/registration.

📝 A Team tryout registration deadline is approaching! All U11, U13 & U15 players planning to try out must be registered for tryouts by August 17.

📱 Starting at the end of the month, we'll be moving to Sprocket as our only communication platform for families. TeamSnap will be phased out completely, so please make sure you're set up on Sprocket to stay in the loop.
