July 4th at Zuanich Point Park was a blast! (Pun intended.)

Between the food trucks, the Bellingham Symphony Orchestra, kid zones, and a picture-perfect evening on the bay, it was a great way to celebrate 250 years.

A special thank you to the Bellingham Regional Chamber of Commerce for organizing another fantastic community event, and to Peoples Bank (WA) for helping make the celebration possible.

We also want to recognize the many vendors, volunteers, event partners, public safety personnel, and community organizations that helped bring the day together. Events like this truly take a village.

Most of all, thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate. We love seeing Zuanich Point Park filled with families, friends, neighbors, and visitors from across the region enjoying the waterfront together.

We’re partnering up with the Bellingham Bike Valet and Backcountry Essentials to reduce traffic at this year’s fireworks AND bring you some sweet prizes.

Entering is easy: anyone who has a bike checked in with the FREE bike valet at Zuanich Point Park at 9PM will be automatically entered in a drawing to win one of three gift cards (two $50 gift cards and one $150 gift card). We’ll announce the winners and send a text to you so you can pick up your prize.

Even if you aren’t picked for a prize, our friends at Backcountry Essentials have offered up discounts to ALL bike valet users at Zuanich on 7/4. Everyone is a winner!

Face painting, eating competitions, juggling… what more could you want?! 🎆

Join us down at the Kids Zone at Zuanich Point Park from 4-7Pm for fun for the whole family!

Our friends wrenthejuggler and Art and Happiness - Stampadoodle will be there for entertainment and face painting, and we’re excited to challenge you to watermelon and raspberry eating competitions.

Get there early to secure your favorite spot on the lawn, enjoy tunes all evening long, and stick around for dinner at the food truck rally before the fireworks start at 10:30!

Your guide to the Fourth of July in Bellingham is here 🎆

The The Peoples 4th of July Spectacular! is only two weeks out and we can't wait to celebrate with you at Zuanich Point Park!

We'll have our Kids Zone open from 4-7, food trucks from 4-10:30, and (of course) fireworks at 10:30!

NEW this year: we're welcoming our friends from Bellingham Symphony Orchestra, challenging attendees to watermelon and raspberry eating competitions, and giving away prizes to folks using the bike valet 🚲

We'll be the ones dressed in red, white, and blue. See you there! ❤️🤍💙
