What a beautiful day it was at the Lummi Nation Canoe Journey Landing! 🛶

Thank you to everyone who came out yesterday to welcome the canoe families at the Cove, Stommish Grounds, and the Wex’liem. From the soft landing to protocol, it was an honor to witness the strength, tradition, and community that make this journey possible.

A huge thank you to all the volunteers who made the day run smoothly, to the cooks who fed everyone at dinner, and to everyone who opened their hearts and homes to our canoe family. None of this happens without you.

To all the pullers who headed out this morning on your way to Nisqually: safe travels. May the water carry you gently and the winds be at your back. We’re honored to have hosted you and to walk alongside you on this journey.
