🇺🇸 THIS WEEKEND: LIVIN IN AMERICA! 🇺🇸

Which artist's songs make you think of America?

The Beach Boys? James Brown? John Mellencamp? Elton John? Elvis? Martina McBride? Miley Cyrus?

The KSO Boogie Band is bringing the music of these artists—and many more—to the stage in “Livin in America,” a musical trip through patriotic pop from the 1950s through the 2010s.

🎶 18 hits. 21 musicians. 7 vocalists. One big Labor Day weekend celebration.

All three concerts are FREE! (Donations appreciated!)

📍 Saturday, Sept. 5 — Devou Park, Covington — 7:30 p.m.
📍 Sunday, Sept. 6 — Tower Park, Fort Thomas — 7:30 p.m.
📍 Monday, Sept. 7 — Woodside Arboretum, Middletown — 7:00 p.m.

Bring a blanket, lawn chair, picnic— and your dancing shoes.
Come celebrate the soundtrack of America with the KSO.

Planning to join us? Be sure to register for KSO weather updates at kyso.org so you’ll have the latest information if the weather affects the concert.

🌤️ Rain or shine, the KSO is ready to swing!

Music Director James Cassidy calls it a "high-octane" concert—and after hearing Saturday night's audience, we think you'll agree. One audience member summed it up perfectly:

"I didn't know you could make Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue any jazzier than it already is—but boy, you did!"

Tonight, James Cassidy leads the KSO's regional all-star big band as they transform beloved works by Gershwin, Bach, Mozart, Dvořák, Brahms, Verdi, Holst, and others into exhilarating jazz and swing.

📍 Tower Park, Fort Thomas
🕢 Tonight at 7:30 p.m. (rain delay possible)
🎟️ Free Admission

Bring a lawn chair, invite a friend, and join us for an unforgettable evening of music. Discover why Saturday night's audience was buzzing long after the final note!

🌧️ Mother Nature has changed our venue, but she can't stop the music!

Due to inclement weather, Saturday's "Swingin' the Classics" dress rehearsal and evening concert have been moved indoors to Greaves Concert Hall on the campus of Northern Kentucky University.

- 10:30 a.m. – Open Dress Rehearsal
- 7:30 p.m. – Free Concert

You'll hear the same exciting program KSO's regional all-star big band performing swing-inspired arrangements of works by Bach, Mozart, Brahms, Verdi, Holst, and more.

We're disappointed to leave the beautiful setting of Devou Park, but the safety of our audience and musicians comes first. We look forward to seeing you indoors—and we're still planning to perform outdoors Sunday evening at Tower Park in Fort Thomas!

Planning to join us for Swingin' the Classics this weekend?

Mother Nature may have a few surprises in store, but the concerts are rain or shine! 🎵

If thunderstorms make an outdoor performance unsafe, we'll move the concert indoors rather than cancel it. That's why we encourage everyone to register in advance.

By registering, you'll receive:
• Weather and venue updates
• Concert reminders
• Entry into our prize drawings

If a location change becomes necessary, registered attendees are among the first to know.

Registration is free and only takes a minute: kyso.org/summer-series

We look forward to seeing you this weekend—whether under the stars or in the concert hall!
