Assalamo Alaykum wrwb

Masha' Allah we had great couple of events this past weekend from Why Islam team.

We had a booth at Issaquah Salmon Days and Olympia setup a table at Arts Walk. Both were well visited by the public Alhamdo Lillah.

Jazak Allaho Khairan for all our volunteers which made these possible.

An immigration judge ruled today that Salah Sarsour, president of the Islamic Society of Milwaukee, can be deported from the country he has lived in for 33 years. He has never been charged with a crime in the United States.

The First Amendment protects everyone here, not only citizens. When a lawful resident can be removed for his advocacy for Palestinian rights, every green card holder learns to watch what they say.

ICNA CSJ stands with Salah Sarsour, his family, and the Islamic Society of Milwaukee as they appeal.
