Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound is a youth-serving nonprofit in Washington state. It is our vision to that all children achieve success in life.

Our mission is to build and support one-to-one relationships to ignite the biggest possible futures for youth. Big Brothers Big Sisters operates under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. As the largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network in the Puget Sound region, we create meaningful, monitored matches between

a caring adult mentor (“Big”) and children (“Little”), ages 7 to 18. By creating a positive relationship between a mentor and child it has a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.

☀️ A summer Saturday to remember! 💚

Last Saturday, our BBBSPS community came together for our Annual Picnic, a day filled with sunshine, laughter, connection, and so many special moments.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so meaningful! We’re especially grateful to our sponsors and community partners for showing up with fun booths, activities, backpack giveaways, and plenty of surprises for our Bigs, Littles, and families. 🎒✨

As summer begins to wind down, we hope this picnic gave everyone one more beautiful memory to carry into the fall.

Because mentoring doesn’t always have to be complicated. Sometimes, mentoring is simply showing up, sharing a meal, playing a game, laughing together, and letting a young person know, “I’m here for you.” 💚

Thank you for showing up for our young people and for one another. Here’s to more moments of connection, community, and belonging.

The Alpha Forum is happening at Eastside Community Center for young BIPOC kids ages 10–14! This session is to make up for the session on the 16th.

This monthly group mentoring program gives kids hands-on access to STEM, leadership, and future-ready skills while learning from local BIPOC community leaders.

They’ll explore virtual reality, AI, bioengineering, climate technology, career readiness, personal portfolios, resumes, and more. 🤖🔬🌱
