Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound is a youth-serving nonprofit in Washington state. It is our vision to that all children achieve success in life.

Our mission is to build and support one-to-one relationships to ignite the biggest possible futures for youth. Big Brothers Big Sisters operates under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. As the largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network in the Puget Sound region, we create meaningful, monitored matches between

a caring adult mentor (“Big”) and children (“Little”), ages 7 to 18. By creating a positive relationship between a mentor and child it has a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.

JD has joined every Tapped In at Tapster SLU, bringing great energy, connection, and encouragement to each networking activity. His presence is a reminder that being a Big is not just about mentorship, it is also about building community with others who care deeply about young people.

Sixth graders stepped into seventh grade, seventh graders got a glimpse of eighth grade, and our eighth graders gave us one final goodbye before heading off to high school. ❤️

What a way to wrap up the school year and our very first year of Level Up at Baker! Thank you to the students, staff, and partners who made it all so meaningful.

It’s been such an electrifying day to kick off our annual National Conference Week! We have been inspired, motivated and energized for the mission at hand.

One of the quotes that moved us was “when you’re gone, who remembers your name and who carries your flame” - Carol Tomé, CEO of UPS.

That’s what mentorship is all about! Showing up consistently in the life of a young person and that impact outliving you.

There’s something powerful about watching a young person step into their future knowing they are supported, believed in, and never alone. ❤️

Last week, we had the privilege of awarding BBBSPS Graduation Scholarships to outstanding Littles whose hard work, perseverance, and dreams inspire us all.

Many shared how their Big became someone they could lean on through life’s challenges—offering guidance, encouragement, and a reminder that they are capable of achieving great things.

To our graduates: Your story is just beginning. Keep dreaming big, working hard, and believing in yourself the way we believe in you.
