We had the pleasure of hosting an Outdoors for All booth at UW Bothell’s Springfest Kickoff, and it was such a fun afternoon filled with carnival games, arts and crafts, music, community, and more.

We loved connecting with so many philanthropic college students who were excited to learn about Outdoors for All and explore our volunteer opportunities. Events like this are such a great reminder of how meaningful it is to get out into the community, share our mission, and meet people who are just as passionate about creating more inclusive outdoor experiences as we are! 💚

May is National Bike Month, and while we all love getting outside and enjoying outdoor recreation, for some of our staff members, recreational rides just aren’t enough time on wheels! 🚲

With Seattle’s incredible network of bike lanes and cycling trails, many of our staff have made biking to work part of their daily routine. We spoke with a few team members who commute by bike year-round to hear about their favorite parts of riding to work. Read on to hear from our staff about why they love biking to work!

If you haven't heard, we also have a blog! Follow this link to read our newest blog post: The Alternative Commute: Cycling to Work. Full Blog: https://outdoorsforall.org/events-and-media/outdoors-for-all-blog/

Our staff headed to a Seattle Mariners game for some well-earned team bonding and fun before the start of our busy summer! There's nothing like stadium snacks, cheering on our home team, and ballpark energy to bring this crew together! ⚾

Today we celebrate Global Accessibility Awareness Day, a day dedicated to recognizing the importance of digital accessibility and creating online spaces, technology, and communities where everyone can fully participate and feel welcomed.

At Outdoors for All, we believe access should never be limited by ability and that includes the digital world. From accessible websites and communication tools to adaptive equipment and inclusive programming, accessibility helps connect more people to recreation, community, and opportunity.

Thank you to our participants, volunteers, supporters, and partners who help make inclusive outdoor recreation possible every single day. Together, we are building a more accessible and inclusive world - online, on the trails, on the slopes, and beyond. 💙

Future teachers hit the trails with us! 🚲☀️
We recently welcomed the Spring Quarter 2026 PE and Health in Schools class to our Adaptive Cycling Center at Magnuson Park to learn more about adaptive recreation and inclusive outdoor opportunities.

We’re always grateful for the opportunity to connect with future educators and share how adaptive recreation can help more students experience the joy of being active outside. This visit is something we look forward to every year!

“Our team is thankful for the opportunity to share what we do with the future teachers of Seattle and greater Washington, so they can help connect their students to opportunities to have fun outdoors,” shared Senior Cycling Manager Taylor Moseley.

Thanks for spending the day with us-we hope to see you all back at the ACC next year!
