Bellevue Police Officers Association members had the honor today of placing memorial flowers on the graves of our Officers that have passed away. While visiting graves, Sgt.Melrose met the wife of Officer Carl Seaman and had a wonderful conversation about his life. This is why it is important to visit our fallen Officers and remember their service! Thank you to Everbloom Floral in Bellevue for working with us to supply the flowers!

This weekend, we held the annual Bellevue Police Banquet. During this time, we came together as a department and honored the hard work and dedication of our officers and selected outstanding officers and detectives who went above and beyond to earn the titles of Officer and Detective of the Year.

For the 2025 year, Officer Andrew Monay was selected as Officer of the Year, and Detective Aaron Jezek was selected as Detective of the Year.

Officer Monay was praised for his assistance to Spanish-speaking members of the public, as well as his proactive patrol and tactics.

Detective Jezek was praised for his work during several homicides last year, as well as his commitment to the drone program and his work in the Cybercrimes Unit.

Both Officer Monay and Detective Jezek were humble in their acceptance of the awards and praised their fellow officers for helping them. We all know this cannot be done alone, and we work as a team. That being said, please help us congratulate Officer Monay and Detective Jezek on their accomplishments!
