We have fielded many questions recently regarding our clinics status during Covid-19. We want to assure you that we have taken precautions and will have screening and temporary policy changes to best serve our patients. We want to assure you that we will continue to provide abortion care with safety, excellence, and compassion, as we have always strived to.

We appreciate ALL of you and hope you are staying safe and healthy.

💕 It's National Day of Appreciation for Abortion Providers! 💕

💕 Sending love to all of the doctors, nurses, staff, clinic escorts, doulas, volunteers & advocates who work tirelessly to ensure people are able to exercise their right to abortion. 💕

💕 We're also honoring the life of Dr. David Gunn, an abortion provider in the south who was murdered by a so-called 'pro-life' extremist outside of his Florida clinic in 1993. Since then, threats and attacks on abortion providers and clinics have increased dramatically.

💕 According to a Feminist Majority Foundation survey of clinics in 2018, 24% of clinics reported experiencing one or more incidents involving severe violence or threats of severe violence. 52% of clinics reported that they had experienced targeted threats and intimidation against doctors and staff. Providing abortion care often means providers have to put their own safety and well-being at risk, and it is through their work that reproductive freedom is a reality. 💕

There is not one thing about this law that is medically based. Forcing a pregnant person seeking an abortion to see and hear a detailed description of their ultrasound and hear a fetal heartbeat is cruel. These laws are intended to coerce, shame and guilt people into continuing pregnancies. Please tell me what other medical procedure is regulated this way... I’ll be waiting. 🤬

Doctors must perform ultrasounds and have women listen to fetal heartbeats before performing abortions.
