Meet & Socialize: 9:00 AM
Driver’s Meeting: 10:00 AM
Departure: 10:20 AM
Lunch: Around 1:00 PM at Amelia’s Hangar Restaurant & Lounge, Bremerton National Airport

Join us for a scenic drive through the Olympic Peninsula, featuring beautiful mountain and waterfront views, winding roads, and bridge crossings along Hood Canal.

We’ll make a scenic pit stop at Lions Park, overlooking Port Washington Narrows, to relax, stretch, enjoy the views, and connect with fellow car enthusiasts.

The second half of the drive features more winding roads before we cruise past Bremerton National Airport, where we may catch airplanes taking off or landing.

We’ll wrap up the day with lunch at Amelia’s Hangar Restaurant & Lounge, located at the airport.

Route details and driving instructions will be available at the driver’s meeting in printed format and through the Rallista app.

Nominations Open for 2027 Puget Sound Chapter Board Positions

Greetings fellow Puget Sound Chapter Members!

Consistent with the Puget Sound Chapter (PSC) Bylaws, the PSC Board is now accepting nominations for two elected Chapter officer positions for 2027:
President
Secretary
Each position will serve a one-year term beginning January 1, 2027.

PSR members in good standing may nominate eligible Chapter members for either position. Nominees must submit a statement of qualifications to the PSC Board during the 45-day nomination period, October 12 through November 26, 2026.

If more than one qualified candidate is nominated for an elected position, the Chapter will conduct an election of eligible members, with the process completed by the end of 2026. If a position is uncontested at the close of nominations, that position will not be included on the ballot, consistent with the PSC Bylaws.

Appointed Board Positions
The PSC Board is also seeking members interested in serving in the following appointed positions for 2027:
Social Events Chairperson
Tech Events Chairperson
Tours Driving Chairperson
Membership Chairperson
Chapter Partner Coordinator
Marketing Coordinator
Descriptions of these volunteer positions are available on our Volunteer Roles page and descriptions of the elected officer positions and additional information regarding Board eligibility and elections are available in the PSC Chapter Bylaws.

Candidates for elected or appointed Board positions must be active Chapter members in good standing and meet the applicable membership and eligibility requirements established in the Bylaws.

Mark your calendar! The BMW CCA Puget Sound Region invites all Chapter members to join us on Saturday, December 19, at 20 Corners Brewery in Woodinville for our 2026 Member & Volunteer Appreciation Gathering from 1pm to 3pm, with doors opening at 12:30 pm.

We’ll wrap up another fantastic year of BMW enthusiasm, driving, events, and friendships with an afternoon dedicated to our members and the volunteers who help make it all happen.

We’ll look back at some of the highlights of 2026, recognize our Chapter volunteers and their contributions, preview what’s ahead for 2027—and, of course, enjoy some good food, conversation, and BMW camaraderie along the way.

HPDE Season Finale! Pacific Raceways September 24, 2026

Greetings fellow Chapter Members,

Oh, you thought we meant Formula 1: Drive to Survive? Not quite. But BMW CCA Puget Sound’s 2026 HPDE season is heading for the checkered flag!

There’s still one last opportunity to get on track this season. Join us September 24 at Pacific Raceways for a full day of High-Performance Driver Education and enjoy the first days of fall – and some of the last long days – from behind the wheel.

Whether you’re looking to improve your car control, vision, situational awareness, and overall driving skills, or simply challenge yourself and have a great day at the track, HPDE offers a safe, structured environment to become a better and more confident driver.

Space is still available in all run groups, and instructor opportunities are available as well. Register now

New to HPDE? No problem. Our program is designed to help drivers develop their skills through professional classroom and in-car instruction. Learn more about the BMW CCA Puget Sound HPDE Program on our website here.

One last opportunity to enjoy the first days of fall and the last days of Daylight Saving with a full day of performance driving at Pacific Raceways. Improve your driving skills, vision, situational awareness and most of all have fun challenging yourself on track.

BMWCCA PSR presents our Sept 24th, 2026 Car Control Clinic at Pacific Raceways in Kent, Washington

Cost: $150 Includes Lunch. Note: MSR has added an additional $2 fee per registration unless you are a Hagerty Drivers Club member.

Registration will be closed when this class reaches capacity or 7 days prior to the event, whichever occurs first.

Car Control Clinics are a fun way to learn what the vehicle you drive every day is truly capable of doing in emergency and high stress situations. Exercises include Emergency Braking, Accident Avoidance, Wet Skipad, Slalom and a higher speed handling oval. At lunch you will be allowed to take your car onto the track for a few parade laps led by instructors.

There will be a mandatory online ground school prior to the CCC to learn car control theory and terminology.

HOT laps. After you complete all of the exercises for the day you have the opportunity to borrow a helmet for a few fast laps around the track in an instructor's car with the instructor driving.

Car Control Clinic and HPDE sessions run simultaneously. It is not possible to attend both CCC and HPDE on the same day.

Come join BMW CCA Puget Sound on Sept 24th for another great High Performance Driving Education(HPDE) at Pacific Raceway.

Cost: $400 for the day, including lunch. Note: MSR has added an additional $2 fee per registration unless you are a Hagerty Drivers Club member.

Registration will close 5 days prior to the event or when the event reaches capacity.

Confirmation: You be waitlisted initially and confirmed as soon as possible given run group capacity and instructor availability. You will be charged upon confirmation.

BMWCCA Puget Sound Region has provided High Performance Driving events at Pacific Raceway and other tracks for more than 40 years. We have a strong safety record and an experienced group of trained Instructors and staff.

Inclusive - Open to all members with all skills and all types of cars.
Attendees are assigned to one of three run groups by the Chief Driving Instructor, based on the skills and abilities of the driver, vehicle, and other participating drivers. Groups run from Novice, where all drivers are instructed to Advanced/Instructors where all drivers are Solo. Others may be instructed or solo depending on driver skill. Passing rules vary by run group. Drivers are expected to advance over time with improving skills and abilities.

Following time on track, run groups will meet in educational breakout sessions for discussion about the track, conditions, traffic management, driving theory, and tips for improvement.

BMWs Down Under


Greetings fellow Chapter Members,

Recently, our intrepid Zündfolge Editor, Andy Wiest, embarked on a 38-hour journey by planes, trains, and automobiles to visit the Perth area of Western Australia.

Along the way, Andy experienced what it’s like to drive Down Under, got behind the wheel of some BMWs we don’t get here in the U.S., and came away with a few observations about the Australian BMW experience.
