Binaytara is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization established to improve cancer health equity and minimize disparities. Our Projects:
1.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Rattlesnake Ledge hike this weekend! It was a great morning of connecting with our community and enjoying the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. A special thank you to Binaytara board member Wendy Wang, as well as Weiran Hu, DanBin Xu, Sherri Zhu, and our Binaytara team for joining us.

Last month in Kathmandu, our Nepal team came together with 13 local organizations at a program organized by Engage Nepal, chaired by former U.S. Ambassador to Nepal, H.E. Scott H. DeLisi, and his wife Lisa DeLisi.

At the Binaytara Spring Research Day 2026, Dr. Innocent H. Peter Uggh at Kilimanjaro Clinical Research Institute (KCRI) presented a community-led model to improve HPV vaccination access among out-of-school Maasai girls in Tanzania.

His work highlights a critical gap in global health: traditional school-based vaccination programs often miss the most vulnerable populations.

By leveraging trusted community structures like community health workers and Maasai Mamas, this model brings life-saving prevention directly to those who need it most.
