Bellevue Cemetery Auxiliary would very much like to have the cemetery mowed for Mother's Day. Today they have tried to mow. The large amounts of rain we have had fall recently has created standing water and mud making it impossible to mow and have a good outcome. More rain is in the forecast this week and it will just not be possible to mow this week. It will be mowed as soon as the conditions dry enough to allow the mowers to do a neat job.

Bellevue Cemetery Auxiliary is aware a number of grave sites in the Cemetery have sunk due to the heavy rains that fell Saturday night. Please know the problem is being addressed, and all graves will be repaired as soon as it is dry enough to get the equipment necessary into the cemetery without doing further damages. Should we receive more rain this week, the necessary dirt work may be further delayed. Please bear with us as we move to get this situation remedied. Thank you very much.

Annual Election Day Pot Luck Lunch November 5th at Family Life Ctr. of First Baptist Church, Bellevue, TX. $15. or larger Donation 11: A.M. - 1:00 P,M, All are invited to Bring a Dish to Add to the Menu. Delivery Available if ordered by Nov. 4th. The Delivery Menu is Choice of Meat Loaf or King Ranch Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Roll, Desert and Drink for $15. or Larger Donation. The frozen Casseroles which feed approx. 6 are available at $25.00 ea., Freezer Ready. Numbers to call for delivery are 940-704-6883 or 940-841-0777

The new flag pole is in place, and all are invited to drive by and see it. It is great way to display our flag, and has perpetual lighting on it at night. It is quite a sight. The work on the leaning, sinking and broken monuments is on going. This is making a huge difference in our cemetery. To those who have sent in additional monies to help defray this expense, thank you very much.
