A huge shout out to Kickee Pants in Poulsbo/Bainbridge Island 🎉
We appreciate the large amount of donations and kindness- because of your generosity, we have a lot of infant and toddler items that will fill many stockings for children in our local area shelters this Holiday Season 🎄

Blankets: 400
Loveys: 250
Board books: 250
Bibs: 1800
Hats: 300
Burp cloths: 350

Totalling 16 large boxes and 670 pounds.

In 2008, Birthday Dreams co-founder Chris Spahn volunteered at the Coast Guard Holiday Stockings for Homeless Children event in Seattle.

Watching more than 3,000 stockings filled for children experiencing homelessness was eye-opening.

It sparked a simple but powerful question: If we support children during the holidays… what about the rest of the year?

Soon after, while planning her own daughter’s birthday party, another idea emerged.

What about birthdays?

And the idea for Birthday Dreams was born.
