All rodders who are looking for a motel for the weekend can call the Silver Sands, instead of their management company, for a better rate than you might be able to get elsewhere. Rates have gone up all over town but Stevie wants to make us a special deal. Call them at (360) 268-9029. Thanks.

UPDATE: Rollout of the new reservation system at the Silver Sands Motel has been delayed until June 1. At that time, please call (800) 544-0300 to book a room there. Leave a comment here if you have any questions. Thanks!

The Eastside Street Rod Association wishes to thank everyone involved in the 2021 Westport Run for their attendance and enthusiasm. A very special thank you to all the participants and sponsors, without whom the whole event would be impossible.

A big shout out goes to the City of Westport and the Westport Police Department for their cooperation. Thanks also to Rhonda McBee at the Silver Sands Motel, the fine people at the Shop N' Kart grocery store, the staff at American Sunset RV Resort & Campground, Carolyn Barker at the Grayland Community Hall, and the members of the Valley Drifters Cruising Association.

The memorial service for Bruce Ojala is tomorrow, Friday, July 17 at 11:00am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. The address there is 25810 156th Ave. SE., Covington, WA, 98042. To create a rod run atmosphere in Bruce's memory, ESRA will be serving hot dogs out of the old club trailer following the service. Please wear a rod run shirt and drive an old car.
In addition to the church sanctuary, an adjacent building with sound and video has been arranged so social distancing can be maintained. Masks will also be required for the safety of all.
Please pass the word to anyone you think might like to attend. Hope to see you there.
