Youth Eastside Services (YES) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides evidence-based behavioral health services for children and youth, ages birth to 22, and their families in East King County. We work with youth ages birth to 22 and their families. YES provides mental health counseling, substance abuse treatment and psychiatric services to help children, teens and families struggling with depressi
on, grief, trauma, substance abuse, cultural- and gender-identity issues, bullying, dating violence, anxiety, behavior issues like ADHD and autism, low self-esteem and much more. We also provide school-based counseling, mentoring and leadership programs for at-risk youth to empower young people and families and prevent issues before they start. We believe that every young person deserves a chance to be happy and successful, no family should suffer through a crisis alone, and the strongest communities support those who are most vulnerable. YES has staff at more than 70 locations across East King County, including offices in Bellevue, Redmond and Kirkland; teen centers; community centers and schools in the Lake Washington and Bellevue school districts. As a 501c3 nonprofit, we rely on donations to fund care for families that cannot afford to pay for services. Due to our generous, committed community of supporters, we’re able to offer services on a sliding scale that goes all the way down to zero — and we never turn away families because they can’t afford to pay for services. YES does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin, immigration status, religion, political beliefs, gender identity and expression, s*x, s*xual orientation, age, physical and mental ability, socioeconomic status, marital status, family/parental status and military status in any of its services, programs or operations. We welcome youth and families of all backgrounds, and we have the ability to provide services in many languages.
