Youth Eastside Services

Youth Eastside Services Youth Eastside Services (YES) is a leading provider of youth and family behavioral health services in East King County. Need, not cost, should determine care.

Youth Eastside Services (YES) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides evidence-based behavioral health services for children and youth, ages birth to 22, and their families in East King County. We work with youth ages birth to 22 and their families. YES provides mental health counseling, substance abuse treatment and psychiatric services to help children, teens and families struggling with depressi

on, grief, trauma, substance abuse, cultural- and gender-identity issues, bullying, dating violence, anxiety, behavior issues like ADHD and autism, low self-esteem and much more. We also provide school-based counseling, mentoring and leadership programs for at-risk youth to empower young people and families and prevent issues before they start. We believe that every young person deserves a chance to be happy and successful, no family should suffer through a crisis alone, and the strongest communities support those who are most vulnerable. YES has staff at more than 70 locations across East King County, including offices in Bellevue, Redmond and Kirkland; teen centers; community centers and schools in the Lake Washington and Bellevue school districts. As a 501c3 nonprofit, we rely on donations to fund care for families that cannot afford to pay for services. Due to our generous, committed community of supporters, we’re able to offer services on a sliding scale that goes all the way down to zero — and we never turn away families because they can’t afford to pay for services. YES does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin, immigration status, religion, political beliefs, gender identity and expression, s*x, s*xual orientation, age, physical and mental ability, socioeconomic status, marital status, family/parental status and military status in any of its services, programs or operations. We welcome youth and families of all backgrounds, and we have the ability to provide services in many languages.

Because of generous community partners, we’re able to bring the Invest in Youth Breakfast to families across the Eastside.

A heartfelt thank you to our presenting sponsors: Amazon, Costco, The LB Gibson Foundation, and Microsoft, for helping make this event possible.

Their support helps ensure that conversations around youth mental health are accessible to our entire community, and that more young people and families can find the care and connection they need.

We are so grateful to stand alongside partners who care deeply about the well-being of our kids!

We are so grateful for our partnership with the Inglewood PTSA and the opportunity to support parents in our community. 💙

A big thank you to YES counselor Tiffany Liao and the team for sharing insights on the daily stressors middle school students face and how families can support their kids through them.

When schools, families, and community partners work together, we create stronger support systems for young people.

Thank you to the Inglewood PTSA for hosting this important conversation.

Youth mental health support is strongest when schools and community partners work together. 💙

Recently, a powerful program at Tesla STEM High School brought students together to talk openly about mental health and support for one another. We are proud that YES counselor Cora Goss-Grubbs helped co-present this program for students.

Cora spends her days working directly with young people at Tesla STEM as part of our school-based services, creating safe spaces for honest conversations about mental health. Her leadership in programs like this helps students know they are not alone and that support is always available.

👏 Special shout-out to Cora for the incredible work she does every day for students.
