Cascadia Seattle Eastside Collaborative We provide opportunities for networking, collaborating, and addressing today's Sustainability Issues. We support the East King County area.

The goal of the Seattle Eastside Collaborative is to provide a network forum where industry professionals could come together, learn from each other, and lead the transformation toward a built environment here on the Eastside that is socially just, culturally rich and ecologically restorative. The Eastside Collaborative hosts bi-monthly events to provide its members with forward thinking education

Join us for Grand Opening of Seattle’s new Center for Architecture & Design on March 5.

The Center for Architecture & Design is a dynamic public space for exhibits, programs and conversations that explore design’s role in shaping cities. Founding partners AIA Seattle, Design in Public and Seattle Architecture Foundation and resident partner AIA Washington Council will host programs throughout the year. The Center will also be open for usage by our organizational partners; an informational meeting for partners will be held April 27.

The Center for Architecture & Design is a dynamic public space for exhibits, programs and conversations that explore design’s role in shaping cities. Join our family-friendly Grand Opening and enjoy:

• FitNation exhibit, with lots of fun interactives exploring how good design can promote healthy activity. Take the Ping Pong Challenge, listen to nature sounds, or just enjoy learning more about the 30+ featured design projects from around the country.

• Fun giveaways, including a Microsoft Band and a new bike!

• Family workshop, Designing Bikeable Seattle, from 10am to noon.

• Photo booth, food, button-making and other fun activities.

• Guest speakers, architecture tours, and a demonstration by Eric Pattison, US Table Tennis Paralympian, at 12:00!

The whole day is free and open to the public.
