Join us tonight at City Hall to attend the Parks and Community Services Board meeting. They will be talking about the 2025-2029 capital improvement projects for Parks and Community Services.

We feel that it is beneficial to attend the City of Bellevue and SplashForward meetings to show our continued opposition of their chosen placement of the future SplashFORWARD and the City of Bellevue proposed pool project that would be built on Airfield Parks old landfill, which is still decomposing today. While they had various other safer options to construct their pool at and still have several other sites they could have researched and chosen. So again come join us to protect our community from unsafe toxins and other concerns.

We have updated our website and added an important timeline of the park, check it out!

We had some great responses from our community about what words and descriptors come to mind when you think of Airfield Park,

"Solitude and Community"
"Nature unfettered, old growth trees, wild flowers"
"a nightmare of buried toxins"
"Serene, Magical, Peaceful"

Splash forward has rescheduled their Community Meeting to Wednesday, November 20th at 6:00 pm at the Amazon Everest Building located at 425 106th Ave NE, Bellevue. 💦

🔗RSVP Required (link in bio)

We feel that is important to attend their events/meetings to show our continued opposition for their project to be placed at our beloved Airfield Park. Because of the risks, removal of the healthy tree canopy, of the lakes and rivers, the effects on , and the cost of the project, and several other concerns.🌲

Join us to hear about their next steps and learn more about their proposed project at Airfield Park, and what steps we can take to encourage them to move their project to another site (Bellevue College, Marymoor Park, Lincoln Center or explore other sites).

We look forward to seeing you!
