The Puget Sounds of Music Our team: Daniel Jung, Jerry Li, Cristina Kosilkina, Chloe Zhan, Saturn Guo, Clarence Guo from Interlake High School in the Puget Sound area.

The Puget Sounds is a student-led startup organization that strives to bring communities together and raise funds for causes notably in Ukrainian aid through fundraising concerts held by prominent and active student musicians in the Puget Sound region.

We are so happy to announce The Puget Sounds of Music’s first fundraising concert of the year! 🎶🎶

Our concert will go from 3:00 - 5:00 PM on June 15th at the Crossroads Community Center. 

Tickets will cost $10 and you can either buy them on eventbrite (tinyurl.com/PugetSoundsCrossroads), or show up with cash to pay upfront. All funds from the concert will be donated to the Interlake Music Parents Association, where funds will be used to fund instrument repairs, festivals, and other competitions.

From Rachmaninoff and Bach, all the way to Sarasate, our musicians delivered an unforgettable performance that resonated with every note. We are deeply grateful for the engaged audience and the wonderful support that made this concert truly special. Thank you for joining us on this musical journey!

On October 15th, 2023, The Puget Sounds of Music and Musicians for Equality hosted their joint concert: "Sounds of Equality: Ukraine Fall Concert"! Thank you to everyone who donated and came to our concert, as well as Mr. Ronald Haight for allowing us to use the beautiful venue at the First Free Methodist Church in Seattle! 💙💛

Through this concert, over $1,200 has been raised to fund directly to humanitarian aid in the ongoing Ukraine war. Our mission is to continue our support - the war is still ongoing, and we are still here. If you would like to further support our initiative, please visit the links in our bios! 💐

Along with music from chamber alumni Maggie Brady (violin), Peyton Magalhaes (cello), and Oksana Ejokina (Icicle series director, pianist), The Puget Sounds of Music is performing in a live concert with money paid to us by Icicle Creek going directly towards humanitarian causes in Ukraine.
