Hi Bellevue / Dayton.. Someone found a man's wallet on Thursday December 5th 2024 , a man who lives on less then 900 dollars a month and who only had 150 dollars left in the bank after bills for food in his account... they chose not to easily put in the man's mail slot on his door via mail slot his wallet lost with his license and medicad and othe insurance cards .They chose to buy 64 dollars around 530 pm Dec. 5th , worth of Subway via doordash and 31 Dollars at AA Wok at 5:51 pm Dec. 5th, via doordash and then started buying Play Station items online until bank started declining transactions.. This left this poor man with out access to his account as the bank even though temporarily returned his money he has no way for a week or more to buy food . Instead this man has to borrow from the good gracious of his friends to get by until then .. And thank you to the officer who they talked to into makinhg it so difficult to file a report.. . MERRY CHRISTMAS . The Grinch loves Credit Card Fraud.

NKY CIVICS is a big advocate for bicycle use on roads but bicycles not using the rules like they are regulated to do should be encouraged to do so. They should be fined.

Hypothetical :
Q. IF you leave an intersection and 3 seconds later you are traveling 10 -15 mph in/on a vehicle is it safe and legal for another vehicle to try to pass you on city streets especially on Poplar between Ward and Foote heading towards Foote street?
A. No it is not safe nor possible to do it legally. It is impossible to safely pass after stopping for 1 sec at stop sign turning right on to Poplar from Ward and get to first vehicle unless exibiting speed that would make them go faster than speed limit for vehicles in Bellevue and also give the first vehicle 3 feet of space while passing them in the street without riding on the part of the curb/sidewalk and get to the next stop sign which is about 100 yds/300 feet.
Q. Do Automoblies , Trucks, etc,. have more rights than bicycles ?
A. No.
Q. Are bicycles by defintion of law vehicles when on the roads?
A. Yes. Sidewalk bikes and street bikes are the terms used by the federal statute. Sidewalk bikes are bikes allowed on sidewalks if there are local ordinances saying bikes not allowed on sidewalks, Street bikes will be giving the title vehicle when it comes to traffic regulations. Side walk bikes are named as such if their horizontal seat is less than 24 inches from the ground . we call them chidrens bikes mostly in everyday life.
Q. Are ebikes bicycles ?
A. According to the amendent 2002 Consumer Protection Act they are regulated as bicycles and can go where a bicycle is permitted to go as long as they are 1 hp(750w) or less in capabilities.
Q. Do other vehicles have an absolute right to pass a bicycle on city streets vs open roads like highways and state routes?
A. Only if it is safe under the traffic regulations. IF you can not give them 3 feet clearance while both are moving than no their is no absolute right to pass them .
Q. Why would some one want to pass another vehicle , bicycle or not in 300 feet of space where speed limit is only 20mph and legally their vehicle should be 2 seconds back at all times at that speed ?
A. Arrogant narcissism.
