SENIOR SPOTLIGHT 2026!! ✨️🎭🎬🎶
This last one is special... The caption for this spotlight is written in the first person unlike the others because, me, Fernanda, made my very own spotlight. Which feels very narcissistic and weird, I almost wanted to ask someone else to do it. Anyway, how do I describe the last three years of my life... simply magical. Years ago I moved away from my home of WA, I moved back after a rough freshman year in Las Vegas and felt like a nobody for months, but after stumbling my way into Loewen’s magical and colorful greenroom, I found a new home. The SHS performing arts department will always hold a very special place in my heart and although the end of my high-school journey was rough, I will never forget the amazing and euphoria I felt that night when we were all tired and exhausted, nearing the end of "Be our guest" when we sing the final chorus after Faye, Cogswarth would say "NO NOT THE KICK LINE!" And the audience erupted in joy, they all stood up, they all started cheering, we almost got a standing ovation, the song was not even over yet. I hit that final long note and suddenly 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 final pose and smile... The look of joy from the audience. I will never forget what that girl felt that night.

Fernanda, will be attending Bellevue College in the fall to complete some credits and pre requisites (the boring stuff) and hopefully transfer to a different University for a BA or BFA (idk yet) in Musical Theater, and one day perform for "the love of my life" Cirque.
