Official News!

In memory of Augustin, at such a young age on the cusp of completing his law studies while leading our Malela Foundation team in Congo has been taken away from us. His fervor for justice and education was palpable as our director and a dedicated law student. Augustin heartbeat for the underserved community, a passion that breathed life into our cause. With a smile that could brighten the darkest day, he stood unwavering for the kids in need. His dedication extended beyond borders; a politics enthusiast, Augustin dreamt of serving his country. Let's honor his legacy through this GoFundMe, continuing his journey of making change happen. May God comfort and console his family. https://gofund.me/043144fe

There shouldn’t be inequality among the children with sight disability, they all deserve equal treatment, equal, education, equal resources to enhance their way of living. One with and one without among these communities is unacceptable. Be the reason they these boys get equal resources and treatment.

As we reflect back on 2022, we couldn't be more proud of the work we have accomplished together

from convening local leaders at our inaugural outreaches to making tremendous progress on the establishment of relationships with schools in our home country of R.D.C to continuing to empower and connect our network of leaders.

Take a look at how we're inspiring hope and taking action

Our 2022 Malela Foundation Leaders Africa cohort spent six months honing their leadership skills, building deep relationships with each other, and exchanging ideas on how to drive sustainable change in their communities.
Since joining the organisation late last year, these leaders have continued to stay connected in our network of local and USA leaders. Currently some are traveling to Congo to participate in our second outreach program .
