In partnership with Dar Ul Uloom Seattle 🤍

A huge shout-out to Sister Bhaiya and her wonderful students who lovingly prepared 40 Ramadan food boxes today for families in need within our community.

Their time, effort, and sincerity reflect the spirit of Ramadan- compassion, service, and caring for our neighbors. May their efforts be accepted..

Today we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a leader who stood for justice, equality, and compassion for all. His dream reminds us that every voice matters and every person deserves dignity and opportunity.

At IWCC, we continue his mission by empowering immigrant and refugee families, building stronger communities through love, service, and action.

Let’s keep working toward a world where everyone can thrive — together. ✨

The IWCC is hosting a Parent Listening Session this Thursday, February 15, from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Together Center in Redmond, Washington. This introductory listening circle is for immigrant parents who have children ages 13-17.

We will identify the gaps in communication and emotional regulation skills needed to effectively navigate cultural differences and prevent intergenerational cultural conflict from emerging. The workshop series is designed to help families determine their own challenges and solutions that are holistically informed by cultural knowledge, ideas from their peers, and the workshop facilitators.

We will provide snacks, refreshments, and prayer space. This event is free to attend. Please RSVP by emailing [email protected]
