Our 5K on Saturday was a great success! Dr. Mascia was spotted in her zebra costume to raise awareness for rare diseases! 🦓 Runners of all ages came together to support our clinic’s operations.

Our Run for Rare Disease 5k is tomorrow, 4/25 at the Maple Grove Mennonite Church! We welcome walk-in participants for the 5k and the Fun Run.

Day-of registration for the 5k is $25 and includes a T-shirt!

There is no fee for the Fun Run.

Additional T-shirts will be on sale at the event for a $15 donation.

Did you know that according to Pennsylvania law, caregivers may not have the ability to make end-of-life decisions for their family members with special needs? Do you know the difference between legal guardianship and a medical representative? Did you know our local hospital gives a special discount to members of the Plain community? Do you know all the resources that are available to you during a hospital stay? This extremely informative family day will answer these questions and many more. We will not only cover important topics that every caregiver for special needs adults should know but also provide a time of networking and a chance to get your individual questions answered.
