đź’™ We Need Your Help!

The Belize Children’s Project is looking for compassionate host families to open their hearts and homes to children from Belize while they receive life-changing orthopedic care in St. Louis.

For these children, a host family is more than a place to stay—it’s a source of comfort, encouragement, and hope during a challenging time far from home.

Your kindness can help a child heal, grow, and fulfill their dreams.

Please share this post and help us find loving, temporary homes for these incredible children as they begin their journey toward a brighter future.

Please help if you can and share with your friends!

❤️ Opening Hearts. Changing Lives.

The Belize Children's Project is preparing to welcome two courageous young girls to St. Louis for life-changing medical care, and our community has an opportunity to make a lasting difference.

💜 Jada will be traveling with her mother for scoliosis surgery and will need to stay approximately 6–8 weeks.

💜 Ruby and her mother will be in St. Louis for approximately 6–7 months while she receives treatment for a leg length discrepancy.

Both families will be staying at Ronald McDonald House
📍 4321 Chouteau Avenue, St. Louis, MO

We're looking for compassionate volunteers to help provide support during their stay. Current needs include:

đźš— Transportation Assistance

Ruby will need transportation to and from aqua therapy at the REC Center in Fairview Heights beginning in September.
Occasional transportation assistance for other appointments may also be needed.

đź’™ Support Services

Friendly visits and encouragement
Help with occasional errands
Providing meals or gift cards
Sharing local resources
Simply helping these families feel welcomed while they are far from home

For more than 50 years, the Belize Children's Project has connected children with specialized orthopedic care that gives them the opportunity to walk, play, learn, and dream.

If you can volunteer, provide transportation, or would like to learn more about supporting Jada and Ruby during their stay, please contact:
