Another St Louis Mardi Gras in the books, thanks to all the B.I.G. volunteers who helped run the parade stand again this year. Surely nobody made it home dry. It was definitely one of the more challenging years of the many. Stay tuned for more community projects and see you all at Belleville Art On The Square in a few months! Any B.I.G. members who have good pictures, please put them in the comments.

B.I.G. had the honor of serving our community at Art On The Square this weekend. The City of Belleville did a superb job organizing this event. There were some challenges on Friday with the weather and high winds, but our community pulled together like we always do. Thank you, Tom Schrag, for making this possible.
Edit: We didn’t have much time for pictures but there were 25 B.I.G. volunteers over the 3 days.

We'll be working a stand at St. Louis Mardi Gras on Saturday March 1st, we will be located at 7th and Marion (our usual location, right on the parade route). The parade starts at 11am. Come say hi, grab a drink, donate a couple bucks to the cause, or just hang out. We are a non-profit organization raising money for Belleville IL.

Some of our latest projects have included wheelchair-accessible swing sets at Laderman Park and Bellevue Park (the Bellevue set is purchased but pending install due to park renovations), a frisbee disc golf course at East End Park, and sponsoring leagues/teams at Citizens Park and Wh**ey Herzog Field. Stay tuned for more projects!
