Down two key players this weekend and these girls STILL battled hard and gave it their all. They went 4-1 in the day- coming up ONE run short in the championship game to an extremely talented Worth Prospect 14u team. It was an excellent, nail biter of a game.

None of the wins were handed to the girls and EVERY player contributed. We are so proud of you ladies. đŸ’™đŸ„ŽđŸ§Ą

Saige Moore. AKA “Saigey or S’more”
#2

Fast, feisty, and full of personality, Saige is the spark that keeps everyone on their toes.

She doesn’t let anything get by her in the field, and while she may be one of the smaller players out there, don’t let that fool you—she can (and usually does) absolutely crush the ball.

Saige brings energy to every game, whether she’s making a big play, hyping up her teammates, or keeping everyone laughing in the dugout. There’s never a dull moment when she’s around, and her hustle, determination, and sense of humor make her a player and teammate everyone loves having on their side.

Harper Boyd AKA “Harp”
#24

Quiet off the field, but once she steps between the lines, her game does all the talking. Harper doesn’t need to be the loudest person in the dugout—her speed, skill, and determination speak for themselves. Smooth in everything she does, she’s an awesome pitcher who competes with confidence and poise. At the plate, she crushes the ball, and on the bases, she’s a threat every time she takes off. Most importantly, she’s a stand-up kid, and a great teammate. She’s no drama and chill as can be, no matter the situation. We are so lucky to have this kid!

“Ava Cover, #7
Ava doesn’t have a nickname, so that’s something we obviously need to fix.

Ava is the spark that gets things started. Our lead-off batter brings the energy with her speed, confidence, and never-quit attitude. In the circle, she pitches like an absolute animal, attacking hitters and completing every pitch. Need someone at a different position? Put Ava anywhere on the field and she’ll get the job done.

She’s spunky, fearless, and always ready for the next challenge. She’s a true team player, a great friend, and someone who always has her teammates’ backs.

What is your favorite softball memory?
“My favorite softball memory is when our team gets in a good mood and everyone is hyped up, cheering, and loud all the time.”

What is your favorite pregame tradition?
“My favorite pre game tradition is when we get in a huddle and do our pre game prayer and pre game pep talks all together.”

What is your favorite position?
“My favorite position to play is probably pitching because the game is always going at your pace and you control it and all of your teammates behind me always say things to make me laugh.”

Evie Harmic AKA “Ev, and Evee Hammock (per Justin)”
#00

Evie is an absolute firecracker. A phenomenal catcher with a cannon for an arm, she makes runners think twice before even considering stealing a base. Behind the plate, she means business and keeps everyone on their toes.

At the plate, she’s a base-clearer who can change the game with one swing. And let’s talk about that legendary resting face
it’s so strong it has grown adults second-guessing their life choices. 😆 (actually, she wouldn’t hurt a fly- maybe Justin, but not a fly)

A force at the plate and a rock-solid first baseman, But what makes her truly special is what she brings to the team beyond the field. She’s always lifting up her teammates, keeping spirits high, and reminding everyone to have fun.

Funny, outgoing, and endlessly positive, Aleksa can have the whole dugout laughing without even trying.

Lainey Sherman, AKA “Laine or Lainey Jaynie”
#5

Our gentle giant. One of the kindest hearts you’ll ever find. She does no harm, but she definitely takes no guff. She’s the first to stand up for the underdog, and she has no problem putting a bully right back in their place if needed.

At the plate, she’s an absolute beast. When Lainey steps into the batter’s box, and there are runners on base, you can bet they’re getting waved home.
In the outfield, she’s been told she’s like a cat in the dark.

Reese McNulty, AKA “Reesie”
#12

When the ball is hit to third base, there’s a good chance the inning is about to end. Reese makes it look easy. At the plate, our cleanup batter is always ready for the moment, doing her job and always delivering.

An absolute beast on the field, but just as valuable in the dugout. Reese is the kind of teammate every team hopes to have. Determined. Strong. Fearless.

“AJ” Hansel, she doesn’t need a nickname, obviously. # 76

AJ has handled her injury the same way she handles everything else—with toughness and a team-first attitude. Even when she can’t be out there playing, she’s always there cheering, encouraging, keeping the scorebook, and doing whatever she can to help the team succeed.

AJ’s love for the game, positive attitude, and commitment to her teammates never go unnoticed.
