The Better Together Logan County Youth Team is hosting Fifth Quarter again tonight at the YMCA! 🏈✨

A huge thanks to the sponsor this week, Elite Cleaning and Concierge, LLC, for allowing the team to provide delicious Six Hundred Downtown pizza knots! Teens can munch on great food while enjoying another beautiful fall night outside playing sand volleyball and hanging out by the firepit, or heading inside for card games and Alaskan ping pong! 🍕🔥🏐

Tonight is a big night in high school football, so encourage your teens to come after the game, or drop in early if they are not going to the game!

⏰ 8:00 PM – Midnight (Drop in anytime!)

📍 Don M. & Margaret Hilliker YMCA

🎟️ Free for all Logan County 7th–12th graders

There are only 3 Fridays left in the season, and we’ve been having a blast every single week.

COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT: Western Neighborhood Outreach Center ❤️📓

Providing youth with a safe, welcoming environment where they can have fun, build friendships, and create lasting memories is so important to their growth. The Western Neighborhood Outreach Center is doing just that by providing a warm and supportive space where local children can feel welcome and connected.

Currently, the Outreach Center offers an after-school program where children can enjoy a meal & snacks, games, activities, and time to complete their homework while spending time with their peers in a safe and positive environment. 🍕

A huge shoutout to Ryan for preparing meals for the kids and for being such a positive role model and mentor. Your dedication to the children and the community does not go unnoticed!

We recently had the opportunity to stop by the Outreach Center and spend some time with Ryan and the kids. We asked them what they enjoy most about coming to the Outreach Center, and their answers were simple but meaningful: “meeting new people” and “making more memories.”

And, of course, when you ask the co****le champion: “Because it’s fun!”

We are so grateful for organizations like the Western Neighborhood Outreach Center that invest in our youth and help create a stronger, more connected community. Thank you for all you do! 🎉

We are celebrating 30 years of local student leadership with Student United Way this year! 🌟

On Tuesday, high school leaders from Bellefontaine City Schools, Benjamin Logan Local School District, Calvary Christian School, Indian Lake Schools, Riverside Local School District - DeGraff, and West Liberty-Salem Local School came together at Recovery Zone of Logan County to start learning about local needs, connecting with community partners, and preparing to allocate $25,000 in local grants later this school year.

Since the program launched in the 1996–1997 school year, Student United Way members have invested over $366,000 back into our community, a 30-year milestone unique to Logan County that we are so proud to celebrate! 💙

Happy National Dolly Parton Day! 💗

We were honored to join Governor Mike DeWine, First Lady Fran DeWine, and many other valued partners at the Governor’s Residence and Heritage Garden to celebrate Dolly Parton's Imagination Library of Ohio.

We are incredibly proud to partner with the Imagination Library of Ohio and support its mission of putting books into the hands of children across the state!

Ohio is the #1 state for enrollment in Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, with more than 28 million books mailed since 2019 and books delivered to over 1 million Ohio children!

We’re grateful for the opportunity to play a small part in building brighter futures through early childhood literacy and to help bring the gift of reading and learning to children throughout Logan County.

As Dolly Parton so beautifully said, “You can never get enough books into the hands of young children.” 📚❤️

Don't forget about our 🎉 Celebrate Dolly Parton with a “Dollar for Dolly”! 💕 event TODAY and tomorrow!
