‼️Life Skills Camp for Teens‼️

The Reach is proud to host a summer camp for Logan County teens. This is a FREE camp for transitional-age teens, ages 14-18, to help prepare them for adulthood, gain independence, and build confidence. Youth will learn together, have fun, and receive incentives for attending.

🚗 Basic Car Maintenance & Safety
🆘 Community Resources & How to Get Help
🍳 Cooking For Yourself

Eligibility: The youth must be ages 14-18 and live in Logan County to attend. That's it!

When: July 27-31, 2026. Attendees will be split into boys and girls. Each day, boys will attend 10am-12pm, and girls will attend 2-4pm.

Where: The Reach, 104 S Madriver St, Bellefontaine, OH 43311

✨ Resource Spotlight: OhioRISE ✨

OhioRISE is a program that supports youth with complex behavioral health needs. Let's dive in.

What is it? OhioRISE is a statewide, specialized Medicaid program that supports youth with complex behavioral and multisystem needs. Multisystem means youth are involved with more than one agency or service, such as school, juvenile court, mental health services, developmental disabilities services, and/or children's services. OhioRISE brings providers together to create care plans and coordinate services to keep families together and to serve youth at home, in their own community, reducing the need for hospitalization and out-of-home or out-of-state placement.

How can it help youth and families? The OhioRISE care coordination can be very helpful for youth and families who are involved with multiple agencies. It helps bring a team together to support the youth and their family, making sure that services are working together and their needs are being met.

Is this only for Medicaid families? No. While it is traditionally for Medicaid youth, a youth CAN qualify for the OhioRISE Waiver if they meet additional qualifications.

How does it work? To start the process, a referral must be submitted to OhioRISE. Then, OhioRISE will complete an assessment to determine eligibility and the level of intensity needed, and they will develop a care plan and team from there. If you need help with a referral, The Reach can help!

😎🔆Summer Park Days - Free Family-Friendly Fun Coming To You 😎🔆

Join us this Thursday, June 11th, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at West Liberty Lions Club Park for free family-friendly fun with The Reach Community Resource Center! Many thanks to the West Liberty Ohio Lions Club for letting us use the park.

We will have games and activities and journal giveaways for kids and teens. This event is for fun and to spread the word about The Reach around Logan County. Additionally, our staff will be available for any questions you may have about The Reach or local programs and resources to support youth and families 💛

Stay tuned for future dates - we will be hopping around Lo Co throughout the summer!

Youth and families are invited to join us for our June Kickback Night: Ice Cream Social. Learn how to make ice cream from scratch, and top it off with delicious sweet treats! See you on Thursday, June 25th, from 6pm to 7:30pm at The Reach.

Parents are welcome to stay or drop off their kiddos. The target age range is 8-18. Come for a little, or stay for a while - either way, we would love to have you.
