🌱COMMUNITY CARE DAY IS COMING UP! 🌱

Gather your team and join hundreds of volunteers on Friday, August 21 as we come together to make a positive impact throughout Logan County.

We’re organizing volunteer opportunities to match every skill level and interest. Whether your style is planting or painting, organizing or building, getting your hands dirty or keeping them clean, there’s a project for everyone. Volunteers will be matched with a variety of rewarding, hands-on service projects that directly support local social service agencies, neighborhood parks, and community organizations.

Spend the day giving back, connecting with others, and helping make Logan County an even better place to live, work, and play. We look forward to serving alongside you on Community Care Day! 😊

📢 NOW HIRING: Occupational Therapist

The Logan County Board of Developmental Disabilities and The Discovery Center are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to fill a current vacancy on our team!

This part-time position (32 hours/week, Monday–Thursday) provides occupational therapy services to preschool-aged children, including evaluations, therapy planning, direct services, and collaboration with families and educational teams.

Qualifications include:
✔ Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
✔ Current Ohio Occupational Therapy License
✔ Ohio Professional Pupil Services License

If you're passionate about helping young children reach their full potential and want to join a creative, dedicated team, we encourage you to apply!

Due to the increased risk of lightning and high winds in tomorrow’s forecast, we have made the difficult decision to postpone Pineapple Palooza. The safety of our guests, vendors, and staff is always our top priority.

This date ensures we can deliver the same exciting energy and full experience you’ve come to expect. The additional time allows key vendors and activities to remain part of the event.
