💜 SEPTEMBER IS NATIONAL RECOVERY MONTH! 💜

September is a time to celebrate recovery, hope, and the strength it takes to create positive change.

National Recovery Month helps raise awareness, reduce stigma, and remind our communities that recovery is possible.

At OCAAR, we believe education and connection are powerful tools for supporting recovery and building stronger communities.

We’re excited to now offer recovery education in both English and Spanish, expanding access to valuable information and creating more opportunities for individuals, families, and communities to learn, connect, and grow in recovery.

SMART Recovery stands for Self-Management and Recovery Training. It is an evidence-informed approach that uses practical tools based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT).

SMART Recovery can help you learn how to:

This is an 8-week, non-clinical peer support group for families navigating addiction. We'll talk honestly about addiction, the toll chronic stress takes on families, letting go of what isn't ours to carry, setting healthy boundaries, and finding our way back to our own lives.

Just education, practical tools, honest conversation, and support from people who understand.
