We are super proud of this guy.! Dallas completed Emerge Recovery & Trade Initiative ‘s 13-month program, and continues strong in his recovery! Also have to give a shout out to his probation officers that took him to Treatment. I mean come on now, that’s where things change as our legal systems recognize treatment as the better path to end the cycle.

Congrats, Dallas!  Dallas continues to stay outside the community, as he’s in a community that has transportation to employment and transitional living!

1st two pics, May 2026, our visit to Emerge (where we take lots of our people with great success as well) and did not expect to see Dallas there with months of recovery and nearing graduation!  That’s when we found out his Probation Officer had taken him this last time🙏

💜 SEPTEMBER IS NATIONAL RECOVERY MONTH! 💜

September is a time to celebrate recovery, hope, and the strength it takes to create positive change.

National Recovery Month helps raise awareness, reduce stigma, and remind our communities that recovery is possible.

At OCAAR, we believe education and connection are powerful tools for supporting recovery and building stronger communities.

We’re excited to now offer recovery education in both English and Spanish, expanding access to valuable information and creating more opportunities for individuals, families, and communities to learn, connect, and grow in recovery.
