Enjoy delicious buttermilk and pumpkin pancakes, sausage, OJ, milk, and coffee — plus à la carte fresh eggs cooked to order by OHP culinary students 🍳.

The Bellefontaine Rotary Club was honored to welcome Winnie Bodin, a current senior at Benjamin Logan High School, as a guest speaker. Winnie shared her reflections on her life-changing summer 2025 experience as a participant in the National Security Language Initiative for Youth (NSLI-Y), a program sponsored by the U.S. Department of State.

She was one of just 440 students nationwide selected to study abroad in Morocco, where she immersed herself in the Arabic language, lived with a host family, and served as a citizen ambassador representing the United States. 🇲🇦💬

Winnie also shared about her participation in the Rotary Youth Short Term Exchange Program in 2024, during which she traveled to Barcelona, Spain, and hosted Alba Muñoz Franco, sponsored by District 2202, Barcelona Sarrià Rotary Club. 🇪🇸🤝

Her passion for language, leadership, and cultural exchange truly embodies Rotary’s mission of promoting peace and global understanding. We are proud to support youth like Winnie who are building bridges across cultures and communities. 🌐💛

💧 Community Partnership in Action! 💧

The Rotary Club of Bellefontaine would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make our new Rotary Purified Water Station possible. The address is 255 South Main St., Lakeview.

🌟 A special thank you to the Village of Lakeview for their tremendous help and coordination in getting all utilities connected.
🪣 Appreciation goes to the Logan County Solid Waste District for pouring the concrete pad.
🌳 And our gratitude to the Logan County Commissioners for their support with the land.

This project reflects the true spirit of “Service Above Self” — bringing together community partners to create something that benefits Logan County residents while supporting scholarships for local students.

All proceeds from the water station go directly to Logan County Scholarships. 💙💛

He shared exciting news about the upcoming book, Historic Sketches of Logan County, Ohio — a brand-new collection of stories, photos, and history from across our county.
