📢 CASA of Logan County Office Update 📢

Our office will be closed as our team attends the 31st Annual Celebrate Kids Conference! We are excited for this opportunity to refresh our training, expand our knowledge, and learn new ways to better serve the children and families of Logan County.

Investing in continued education helps us stay informed, inspired, and prepared to be the strongest advocates possible for the children we serve. We look forward to bringing back new ideas, resources, and best practices that will benefit our volunteers and our community.

Thank you for your understanding while we are away. We can't wait to return energized and ready to put what we've learned into action for Logan County's children!

🇺🇸 Today marks the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001.

On this day, we pause to remember the lives lost, honor the courage of first responders, and reflect on the resilience that carried our nation forward. We remember the families forever changed and the heroes whose selfless acts continue to inspire us.

As we commemorate this solemn anniversary, may we never forget the strength found in unity, compassion, and service to others.

🤝 Collaborating for Ohio's Kids 🤝

CASA of Logan County is proud to be participating and representing Logan County in the 2nd Annual Kids Summit! We are working side-by-side with fellow agencies across Logan County and the state of Ohio to build stronger partnerships, share resources, and create real, lasting change for local youth. Every child deserves a safe, supportive environment where they can thrive, and it takes an entire community working together to make that possible.

As Governor Mike DeWine shared during the event: "We understand the long-term impact, but we also know there is a short-term impact as well. We have a moral obligation for each kid in Ohio to live up to their God-given potential."

Lt. Governor Jim Tressel welcomed former OSU Buckeye Maurice Clarett as the keynote speaker for this year’s conference. Clarett shared the importance for advocacy in children and how it has impacted his own personal life.

Thank you to all of our community partners, advocates, and volunteers who show up every single day to lift up our children. Together, we are building a brighter future for Logan County! 💙✨

At CASA of Logan County, we’re so proud to serve as the volunteer advocacy arm of the Logan County Family Court. Yesterday was United Way’s Community Care Day was such a powerful reminder: whether we’re standing up for children in the courtroom or rolling up our sleeves alongside court staff to serve our neighbors across Logan County, building a stronger community is a team effort.

Happy National Friendship Day! 💙

Friendship is about showing up, listening, encouraging, and reminding someone they are not alone.

At CASA of Logan County, we see the power of meaningful connections every day. While CASA volunteers serve as advocates for children who have experienced abuse or neglect, they also become trusted, consistent adults who help children feel seen, heard, and supported during some of life's most challenging moments.

Today, we're celebrating the friends, mentors, volunteers, neighbors, and caring community members who make Logan County stronger through kindness and compassion.
