NJWOMENSONG is a premier women’s ensemble dedicated to choral perfection. Choir members should enjoy singing beautiful, fun, exciting, and challenging music.

Through disciplined rehearsal and sophisticated repertoire, we deliver a world-class experience celebrating the strength and beauty of women’s voices. NJWOMENSONG was created by Hillary Colton and Rosemary Nagy, two
distinguished school choir directors in Flemington. This choir is a nonprofit ensemble designed for women who share a passion for choral singing. The choir presented their inaugural concert entitled “A Choral Tapestry” in January, 2014. We are currently seeking new members! Please send us an e-mail for dates/times when you can come audition for us.

Happy 100th Birthday to jazz saxophonist John William Coltrane! 🎉
Born today, 1926, in Hamlet, NC.
He served in the Navy towards the end of WW2 and made his professional music debut in 1945.
Coltrane helped initiate the use of "modes"--a type of genre that switches between tones throughout the song--and was at the forefront of free Jazz! He was known for his spiritual music, including his best-selling album A Love Supreme (1965).
Coltrane also received many posthumous awards, including a special Pulitzer Prize, and he was canonized by the African Orthodox Church.
