Are you looking for a welcoming community of singers who love making great music together? NJWOMENSONG is now scheduling auditions for our upcoming 2026–2027 season, and we would love to meet you!

Established in 2013, NJWOMENSONG is a supportive sisterhood united by a passion for high-quality singing, artistic growth, and lasting connection. We are looking for women’s voices with all levels of experience!

🗓️ AUDITION DETAILS
📍 Location: Hunterdon Central Regional High School (Chorus Room)

🗓️ Dates: Monday, September 1st & Tuesday, September 2nd

⏰ Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

✨ WHAT TO EXPECT
Bring a short song in any genre that shows off your voice 🎤

We’ll do a quick vocal range check and a brief pitch-matching exercise 🎼 Our auditions are low-pressure, friendly, and encouraging!

Note: Rehearsals begin Wednesday, September 9th at HCRHS.

We are officially opening up spots for our upcoming fall season at NJWOMENSONG, and we’d love for you to join us!

If you've been looking for a down-to-earth, supportive community of women who just love making great music together, this is your sign. We’re an inclusive, multigenerational group based right here in Hunterdon County, and we welcome singers of all backgrounds and skill levels.

Here are the dates for our fall vocal placements:

🕕 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

"Wait, an audition? I'm nervous!"
Please don't be! We don't do stressful auditions here. There are no scary judges, and you don’t even need to know how to read music to join. We just want to get to know you and your voice.

Here is exactly what we'll do:

Say hello: You'll meet our Co-Directors (who are very friendly, promise!) for a quick chat.

Sing a little: We’ll ask you to sing a short snippet of any song you like, just something simple that makes you feel comfortable and shows us your natural range.

Find your spot: We’ll do a few quick warm-ups at the piano just to see whether you’re a Soprano 1, Soprano 2, or an Alto.

That’s the whole thing. It’s just a relaxed, friendly check-in to make sure we place you in the section where you'll have the most fun.

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to Being Woven: A Journey of Becoming.

We are so excited to share that we sold 267 tickets for the performance, which is officially our biggest audience ever! Walking out to see a full house was incredible, and your energy made all the weeks of rehearsal completely worth it. We really couldn't do this without your support. We will be announcing our email raffle winner over the next week, so keep an eye out for that email to see if you won!

While we’re taking a little break for the summer, we’re already looking ahead to our next concert and wanted to make sure you have the date on your calendar. Our Holiday Concert is set for Saturday, December 12th at 3:00 PM in the Flemington area. We're finalizing the venue details now and will share the location as soon as it's set. We’re already putting together a great program for it, and we would love to see you there.

Thank you again for making this past concert so special. Have a wonderful, relaxing summer!
