Celebrating Sustainability and Service!

Throughout Earth Month, our Enhance Our Environment and Uplift Our Local Community Committees focused on promoting responsible environmental practices and uplifting those who serve.

Together, these committees united to honor the frontline heroes at the Fire Departments of Belle Glade, South Bay, and Pahokee, as well as the dedicated staff at Dialysis Care Centers in Belle Glade and Clewiston. Each team was presented with a plaque of appreciation, a potted plant, and sweet treats as a small token of our deep gratitude for their unwavering service to our citizens.

Each month, Mu Rho Omega Chapter will recognize a member who goes above and beyond the call of sisterhood and service. Our “Soror of the Month" with a twist is awarded to the Sisters of Mu Rho Omega Chapter.

Mu Rho Omega proudly hosted the Sisterly Mixer Trail Ride, welcoming sisters from Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina during the 73rd South Atlantic Regional Conference. It was an unforgettable night of sisterhood and service!

Happy Charter Day 💖

We celebrate a group of women who took a leap of faith, planting seeds of service to ensure their legacy would flourish for generations. On Saturday, April 7, 1979, the Mu Rho Omega Chapter was chartered, and today we pay special homage to our seventeen visionaries.

We honor Sisters Ruth Allen, Dr. Effie C. Grear, Beatrice Bankston Fitzgerald, Fannie Hart, Elnora Boldin, Shirley Hobbs Wright, Geneva McKenzie Boyd, Priscilla Johnson Mann, Carolyn Brown, Diane Bridgeman Howard, Lettie Gulley Cannon, Harma Miller, Cynthia Gilliam, Jacqueline Radcliffe, Henrietha Randall Gary, Shirley Speaks, and Edna Stephens.

We are deeply grateful to continue our legacy of service to the community in their honor.
