As a result of your generosity we have gathered so many school supplies! We thought you’d like to know the impact your donations had.

$100 donated which bought 10 backpacks, for a total of 42 Backpacks!
• 48 Bottles of white glue
• 167 White or clear glue sticks
• 91 Boxes of 24 crayons
• 59 Colored pencils 12 count
• 60 large Erasers, 22 packages pencil top erasers
• 8 Boxes of sandwich bags
• 60 Blunt scissors
• 35 boxes Eight count markers
• 1,151 #2 Pencils in 72 packages
• 45 Composition notebooks
• 137 Spiral notebooks, wide or college rule
• 24 Package of 5 tab divider
• 15, 3 ring binders
• 5 Baby wipes
• 4 Box of tissues
• 110 Folders, all colors
• 35 reams Looseleaf paper, college or wide ruled
42 pencils sharpeners,
196 pens, 47 highlighters, 8 pencil pouches, 5 packages index cards, and 4 lunch boxes.

Isaacs scout troop will make packets of supplies for students this week. Then we will deliver the supplies to the Mothers of Refugees group that partners with St Vincent de Paul in Dayton.

This is the last week we will collect school supplies. Last pickup will be Saturday, August 24th.
Help us fill the 36 backpacks that have been donated! Thank you to all who have already helped us!

We are so grateful for all the donations this far! Currently we have 35 backpacks we are hoping to fill! We will conclude August 24th.

I am collecting school supplies for U.S. State Department sponsored refugees coming to the Dayton area. The refugees come with basically nothing. They are supported in finding housing and jobs. The Mother of Refugees group partners with Saint Vincent De Paul and helps provide school supplies for refugee students. Our donations of school supplies will help students this school year and provide mid year supplies as well.
