Bellaire, “The City of Homes”, has an established, distinctive business community. While known best as a residential enclave in the midst of Houston, Bellaire is also home to over 1,000 business entities, including medical and professional practices, retailers, restaurants and financial institutions. e and stability of property values in Bellaire and near-by neighborhoods. For that reason, at the beginning of 2015, the Bellaire Business Association was formalized with the stated mission of promoting local businesses, providing professional networking opportunities and fostering local economic development. The Association conducts informational and networking events on a regular basis to acquaint professionals and business managers with each other as well as with current issues and opportunities. It provides forums for interactive gatherings with key government and business leaders. Further, it facilitates education on topics related to business development and management.
