🌟 SCAD 2025 Lecturer Spotlight 🌟
We are honored to welcome Dr. Markus B. Blatz to the SCAD 2025 Annual Meeting in Miami!
Dr. Blatz is Professor of Restorative Dentistry, Chairman of Preventive and Restorative Sciences, and Assistant Dean for Digital Innovation and Professional Development at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He founded the Penn Dental Medicine CAD/CAM Ceramic Center and is internationally recognized for his contributions to digital dentistry, adhesive protocols, and esthetic restorative materials.
He is co-founder and past President of the International Academy for Adhesive Dentistry (IAAD), founding member of the European Academy of Digital Dentistry (EADD), Editor-in-Chief of Compendium of Continuing Education in Dentistry, and on the editorial boards of numerous leading journals. Dr. Blatz has published extensively, co-authored the bestseller evolution – contemporary protocols for anterior single-tooth implants, and was named among the World’s Top 100 Doctors in Dentistry.

This lecture will highlight the APC zirconia bonding concept, a research-driven approach developed over two decades, showing that reliable long-term bonding to zirconia is not only possible but highly successful.
