Went to review an independent young man- he’s moving in from a place that he’s been in for 15 years that’s been condemned into a new studio apartment. A lot of sorting and years of his heart - so it’s a delicate situation to get him packed up and moved to his new location.
Moving trash, donation, keep, wash
Lots of decisions.
That job will begin on Monday

Now I sit and wait for Donor to drop off lots of winter jackets and blankets as we prepare for the winter.

Do you all remember our 86 year-old Miss Wesley, living in an elder community? Her son who is a veteran and in a wheelchair himself found us through Google.

He was concerned about his mama and placed the call to me, yup we stepped in. She had bedbugs and we had to wait for everything to fumigate and for the bedbugs to be gone!!!She had to throw out her bed mattress - bedding etc

We waited three months and we delivered her a new frame and boxspring.
A Donor bought her a mattress. We had new sheets , new comforter and new pillows. We picked up an Ikea dresser for her from another donor. We had a shower curtain for her and a bath stool.

When we went to put everything together after Lynne and I delivered, the boxspring was the wrong size
I had to come back and order her a queen metal box spring. Today Janie and I went and assembled everything to complete her.

She was so so happy- after sleeping on a couch for three months, she will finally be in a bed.

Today we were finally blessed to get everything together for a family in desperate need. This was a domestic case and when I went to visit, they came with the clothes on their back and they had three donated mattresses on the floor for two children and adults. That was it.
We were able to purchase 2 twin and one king frame- pillows and hygiene.
From the estate I boxed up
TVs, all living room furniture, all kitchen, necessities, bookcases,
storage containers, garbage, pails, lightbulbs tools, and a vacuum cleaner.
From the commmunity
Towels, bedding, hangers
I will visit again tomorrow to drop off detergent.

Thank you to our Movers with
Nationwide in helping making this possible.

Thank you to the community for the microwave and donated items .

Today - angels around me!!

I’m not going to believe this - blessed
I was on a step ladder, not barefoot in my little sandals which I never do. Pulling sheets- blankets for the family that we are filling needs for.
I was about 7 feet high second step from the top lifting a big bin down of sheets. When the bin went up against me, I fell backwards. The bin followed and I slammed onto the concrete floor -tailbone and back. I laid there for a bit. I didn’t know if I had to take a BM or not. I didn’t know if I was bleeding. I didn’t know if I had a hemorrhoid come out that I never knew I ever had and so I rested. I then got up and started to walk around looked for blood. I finally didn’t have any symptoms anymore. Everything was fine and I got back to work. Let’s see how I feel tomorrow.

I tell you what if another 66 yr old fell the way I did. They probably would’ve busted.

Seriously blessed-

It has been very busy in the field of assisting and restoring lives for Amazing Grace Charities.

Yesterday I went to meet the family and to see the apartment of the domestic family that we’re assisting
Of course I don’t want to talk about the logistics, but I can tell you the aunt- uncle who received Custody of her two nieces

They each had a story to tell
The visual of just three mattresses on the floor and bags of clothing that they needed to sort through because the clothes on their back is all they had - hit my heart.

Though we get stories through the charity, I must follow through just to make sure that the decisions that we are making or the donations that are given by the community are going to the right place for the right reason.

Especially when it has to do with Major Items or financial assistance and getting those items to them

I had a Client who hired me to sort all the remaining estate pieces and to make sure that they were going to a place where they could be resourceful. I had finished my job and the items were going to Salvation Army that was scheduled for Pickup, textile Recycling, AGC Boutique and Items went to a transitional living individual .
THEN this family came through and my client became the Donor.- after AGC Boutiqueith her the items were no longer going to Salvation Army as it could furnish this apartment and help in so many ways all the way through to the kitchen, lightbulbs, extension cords, vacuum cleaner, Major necessities!

SO

All the items will be picked up by our charity professional Movers on Friday and taken to the family and it will be Christmas in June for them

If it wouldn’t be for the community, shopping at AGC Boutique, believing in our charity or me as a vessel, I would not be able to touch as many lives or families without y’all.

Because of our growth we are able to help 22 organizations - I have researched, toured and personally feel a trust , teachers, three developing countries, individuals, and families.

Bless y’all
Together we assist and restore

I haven’t posted for a while on photos or updates as it’s been around the clock with necessities of individuals throughout the community.
I can say we’ve been working on an elderly woman that is 86, her place was infested with bedbugs and everything had to be thrown out. She’s been sleeping on a couch and we’ve been waiting for all fumigation to be completed so we can help her out.
On Tuesday, we’ll finally deliver her a new bed, a frame, a bath stool that she requested. A dresser and all new bedding and pillows.

Been working on an estate where everything had to be sorted, finding proper organizations or a family that could possibly use all the items

We were able to complete all of this yesterday. It was a big job. Thank you Shelly ( Lynn) for all your help!!

The Donor lives in Dallas and we have been communicating, through text, video and photos. The Items will go, some to Salvation Army, AGC Boutique, textile Recycling, and a majority of all the furniture will go to a domestic family that has been sleeping on mattresses on the floor- ( originally I scheduled Salvation Army)

We are now scheduling when we can get all the needs moved to them by 14 June.

Will keep you updated as we continue to move quickly in the field - thank you for all your support.
