PRINCE & PRINCESS NEED A FOSTER

These two huskies were seized from their owner due to neglect, severe malnutrition and lack of medical care. They now need somewhere safe to go.

Prince and Princess are in boarding right now. A temporary foster opened their home to two emaciated huskies who had never known kindness.

But temp foster isn't forever and unfortunately, they could no longer keep this adorable duo. To be clear, they can most definitely be fostered separately.

Who they are:

Prince and Princess are around 2–3 years old. When they arrived, they were starved—bones sticking out, weighing barely half of what they should. They've been to the vet. Princess has a thyroid issue (easy meds) and is heartworm positive low (very treatable). Neither is altered yet—rescue will cover that.

And now? They're gaining weight. They're potty trained. They're learning that humans can be kind.

They are the sweetest, most gentle beta dogs you will ever meet. Neither has shown an ounce of aggression. They take cues beautifully from people and other dogs. They just want to feel safe.

What they need:

A committed foster. Together or separately—they will be fine either way. They need someone who is ready to show them that they are safe and loved. Someone who will be patient as they finish putting on weight. Someone who understands that these two have never had a real home, and they're still figuring out what that means.

Princess is the more outgoing one—she rolls onto her belly for rubs and soaks up affection like a sponge. Prince is quieter, but he leans into every pet like he's been waiting for it his whole life. They both love the humans who have shown them kindness. They just need more of it.

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

This is urgent. Boarding is no place for these two. And if you’re able to donate to help with the cost, we would really appreciate it! As you know, two dogs in boarding is twice the cost!

NICO NEEDS A FOSTER – A SWEET BOY LEARNING TO FEEL SAFE

Nico is safe right now. He has a temporary foster who opened their home to him, and we are so grateful.

But temp foster isn't forever. Nico needs a real foster—someone who will give him time to fully trust, fully settle, and finally understand that he's not going anywhere.

Here's who Nico is when he feels safe.

He's around 3–5 years old, about 45–50 pounds, and potty trained. Someone loved him once—he knows "shake" and walks right beside you like it's the most natural thing in the world. But somewhere along the way, that love disappeared. And Nico is still learning that it can come back.

He likes spending time with humans. He doesn't need to be crated—he's not destructive. He will wander around happily, keep himself entertained, and just be in your space. But when you walk near him, he looks up with soft eyes like, Oh. You're here. That's nice. Let's be together.

Give him time, and he warms up into something truly sweet. He loves belly rubs. He loves hugs—the real kind, where he leans his head against you. When you walk away, he doesn't cry or beg. Just one quiet hound howl, a soft goodbye that says I hope you come back. I like having you here.

Nico is not demanding. He's not pushy. He just wants to be near people who are kind to him. He needs patience. A human who understands that trust takes time. And when he finally gives it to you? It will feel like everything.

He has full rescue backing. All medical costs covered. He just needs a committed foster who will let him learn to feel safe—for real this time.

PRINCE & PRINCESS NEED A FOSTER (TOGETHER OR SEPARATELY) – LOOK WHAT WAS DONE TO THEM

Before we start: We are running low on supplies for these two and future pups. Please consider sending something from our wishlist. Every item helps! (We’ve prioritized wet food on the list).

https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/24IBO9NR8RMBW?ref_=wl_share

Now. We need you to look at their pictures. The ones where they're shaved. Where you can see every rib. Every bone.

That is what neglect looks like.

That is what starvation looks like.

And somehow, after all of that, Prince and Princess are still the sweetest dogs you will ever meet.

They are huskies, around 2-3 years old. They should weigh close to 60lbs each. Right now? They're 25-30lbs. Less than half of what they should be. Someone kept them like this. Someone watched them waste away and did nothing.

The Bellaire Police did something extraordinary. They apprehended the person who owned these dogs. There is evidence. There are pictures. Justice is coming. A special thank you to Officer Soto who went above and beyond to get these dogs safe!

But Prince and Princess are still waiting. They've been at the pound for over a week now.

What the vet found:

⚫️Princess has a thyroid issue – easily managed with daily medication

⚫️ Princess tested heartworm positive (low positive) – very treatable

⚫️ Neither has been spayed or neutered yet – rescue will cover that

⚫️ Prince is heartworm negative

Given everything they've been through, their medical problems are minimal. Their bodies are broken down, but their spirits are not.

Who they are:

Princess is so loving. She will roll onto her belly for rubs and look up at you like you're the first kind thing that's ever happened to her. Because maybe you are.

Prince is quieter. Not as in-your-face. But he leans into every pet like he's been saving it up for years. He just needs to know you're safe. Then he's yours.

They play together. They love the human volunteers. They don't understand why their bodies hurt or why they were left to starve. But they still wag. They still hope.

What they need:

A foster home. Together or separately. They will do beautifully with other dogs – neither has shown one single moment of aggression. They are beta dogs. They will take cues from resident pups, grow their confidence, and finally get to play like they were always meant to. They would also be fine as an only dog.

They just need someone to say enough. No more waiting. Come home.

BROWNIE NEEDS A NEW FOSTER – ONE WITH MORE COMPANY DURING THE DAY

Brownie is in a foster home. We're grateful for that. But the truth is, it's not the right fit for his sweet, social heart.

Here's the thing about Brownie: he can be left alone. He's crate trained. He's perfect in his kennel. But right now, he's spending long workdays, five days a week, crated and waiting. And while he handles it beautifully, we'd hate for that to be his everyday reality. That's not what we want for him. That's not what he deserves.

Brownie is a 1-year-old, 46lb pocket pittie who thrives on being with his pack—two-legged and four-legged. He loves other dogs. Loves playing with them. Loves just existing near them. He's gentle with people, takes treats softly, melts into belly rubs, and rolls in the grass for pure joy. He's potty trained, knows "sit," and has full rescue backing for all medical costs (including his future neuter).

He would love a foster home where someone is around more during the day—someone who works from home, is retired, has a hybrid schedule, or can at least let him out of the crate to hang out nearby. He can be your only dog or join a home with another dog (or two!) to play with. Either way, he just wants to be with his people.

Brownie is the goodest boy. He's not asking for much. Just a little more company and a little less waiting in a crate.

PLEASE FOSTER NICO!

TWO WEEKS. NO EXPLANATION. NICO IS STILL WAITING.

We don't understand it. Two weeks ago, Nico's stray hold ended. We posted him everywhere. Shared his gentle face, his soft eyes, his hug-loving heart.

And no one has come. Not one person. We literally don't know why.

So here he is. Still being the goodest boy in a kennel that was never supposed to be his home.

Nico is 3–5 years old, about 45–50 pounds, and potty trained. Somebody loved him once—you can tell by the way he offers his paw for "shake" and leans into belly rubs like they're his favorite thing in the world. He's calm. Quiet. The kind of dog who wanders around keeping himself entertained, then looks up when you walk near like, Oh, hey. Since you're here, want to hang out?

And he does want to hang out. Right beside you. No drama, no jumping—just a warm presence that asks for nothing except maybe a hug. He loves hugs. Real ones, where he rests his head against you.

When you walk away, he doesn't cry or beg. Just one soft hound howl. Not sad, exactly. Just a little note that says I noticed you left. Come back when you can.

He's not super food motivated. He's motivated by people. A couch potato at heart, Nico would be perfectly happy spending a slow afternoon napping near you or following you from room to room just because he likes your company.

He has full rescue backing. Every medical cost is covered. He just needs a foster. A couch. A human who says "let's go, buddy."

CAN YOU FOSTER NICO?

NICO HAS BEEN WAITING OVER A WEEK. HE'S STILL HOPING.

A week ago, we introduced you to Nico. Gentle. Calm. The kind of dog who leans into hugs like he's been missing them his whole life.

And he's still here. Still waiting. Still being the goodest boy.

Nico is 3–5 years old, about 45–50 pounds, and potty trained. Someone loved him once—he knows "shake" and walks right beside you like it's the most natural thing in the world. He's not pushy or needy. He'll wander around happy on his own. But the moment you show him attention? His whole demeanor softens. Oh. You see me. I'll just stay right here with you then.

He loves belly rubs. He loves hugs. When you walk away, he doesn't make a scene—just a single, soft hound howl, like a gentle reminder that he'd really rather you didn't go.

Nico is a couch potato at heart. Not super food motivated. Just people motivated. He wants to be near you, not in your face. A quiet roommate with a warm heart.

He has full rescue backing—all medical costs covered. He just needs a foster who will let him be part of the everyday. A couch. A human. A little bit of patience.

NICO NEEDS A FOSTER

No one came for Nico. Not during his stray hold, not after all the posts and shares. He's been waiting quietly, and now the time is up. He needs a foster.

Here's who you'd be saying yes to.

Nico is somewhere between 3 and 5 years old, about 45 to 50 pounds, and has clearly been loved before. He knows how to shake. He's potty trained. He's calm in a way that feels like a deep breath. When you walk near him, he doesn't jump or bark—he just looks up with soft eyes like, Oh, hi there. Want to walk with me? And then he does. Right beside you, happy to be included.

He loves belly rubs with his whole body. He loves human hugs—the real kind, where he leans in. When you have to leave, he won't cry or carry on, but he might let out one quiet hound howl, just a little goodbye to let you know he noticed you're gone.

Nico isn't demanding. He'll wander around and keep himself entertained, perfectly content to coexist in your space. But if you show him attention, his whole face lights up. He's not super motivated by food—he's motivated by you. A couch potato at heart, he would likely be thrilled to spend a slow afternoon snuggled up or just nearby, watching the world go by.

He has full rescue backing. Every medical cost is covered. He just needs one thing: a committed foster who will give him a soft place to land while he waits for his forever home.

🚨SOS🚨 FOSTERS NEEDED FOR PUPPIES

These two little ones can’t be at the pound and we’re looking for fosters for both of them! They can be taken together or separately. We are no longer sure if they’re litter mates - it’s looking less likely but we can’t be certain.

Brown and white one is pretty good about using potty pads. She’s approximately 10lbs and gets along well with other dogs.

Brown with colored eyes is super soft, slightly larger and also a lovebug female puppy. There were social media posts about her “owners” looking for her but they don’t want her anymore.

Please please open your heart and your home to one of them! (Or both!)

Email [email protected] to learn more or set up a meet and greet.

URGENT: FOSTERS NEEDED FOR TWO PUPPIES

Found a day apart in the same area, we suspect these two adorable puppies are litter mates. They can be fostered together or apart. They’re likely 2-3 months old and sweet as can be. Those puppy kisses can be beat.

They’re approximately 10lbs. They’re too small to be in a pound, so please help us keep them safe by offering to foster!

The more brown one was JUST found today.

Please email [email protected] to meet these pups or learn more about fostering.

FOSTER NEEDED FOR NICO

The Low-Key Hound Mix Gentleman Who Just Wants to Wander Beside You

Meet Nico.

He's somewhere between 3 and 5 years old, about 45–50 lbs, and has clearly been someone's dog before. He knows "shake." He's potty trained. He's calm. And he is so gentle.

Nico doesn't demand attention. He'll wander around, keep himself entertained, and just coexist peacefully in your space. But here's the thing: the moment you show interest in him—or even just walk near him—his whole demeanor changes. He looks up like, Oh, okay. Hi human. Let's walk around together.

And he will. Happily. Right beside you.

What Nico loves:

—-Belly rubs (unlimited, please)

—-Human hugs – like, really loves them

—-Quiet company. A couch. A slow afternoon.

What Nico doesn't do:

He doesn't cry when you leave. But he does let out a soft hound howl – just enough to say "I noticed you're gone."

He's not super food motivated. That's fine. He's motivated by you.

He's likely a couch potato at heart. A low-maintenance, sweet-natured guy who has been owned before and just wants to belong again.

Nico has full rescue backing – all medical costs covered – IF we can find him a committed foster.
