Bellaire Fire Department Chief Farquhar gave us a much needed “Fire Extinguisher 101” course last week, including an interactive demonstration for using “P.A.S.S.” - Pull the pin - Aim - Squeeze the trigger - Sweeping motion. October is National Fire Prevention month! Don’t miss our guest speaker this week, Chief Davis Farquhar, of the Bellaire Fire Department! He'll lead an interactive program with fire safety tips. Chief Davis Farquhar was appointed as the City of Bellaire Fire Chief in 2025, though he has been serving Bellaire since 2005, rising through the ranks from Firefighter/Paramedic to Assistant Fire Chief/Fire Marshal. With 20 years of experience and a deep commitment to our community, he’s geared up to lead the department into its next chapter.
