Meadow Brook Foundation To support and benefit Meadow Brook MCF employees to better their education with financial support.

The Foundation has directed their efforts in promoting the Career Enhancement Program with funds raised by community fund raising events and general donations. This program is for Meadow Brook employees who would like to become Licensed Practical Nurses and Registered Nurses. There is a national crisis in the nursing field with more nurses nearing retirement and less graduating to replace them. The Foundation hopes this program will assist Meadow Brook to maintain a professional staff to provide resident care services, provide employees an opportunity to further their education and career options. Employees who are accepted receive full tuition reimbursement, full wages and benefits while they attend college. Students are expected to continue to work some hours each week. If the employee remains at Meadow Brook following graduation for three years all costs are considered repaid.

Please join us in congratulating Courtney Feenan on her recent scholarship awards and her continued journey toward becoming a Registered Nurse! 👏💙

Courtney has been a dedicated member of the Meadow Brook team for over 7.5 years, serving our residents with compassion and excellence as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Through the support of the Meadow Brook Foundation, Courtney is pursuing her RN degree and is expected to graduate by the end of this year. 🎓

Recently, Courtney was awarded:
💰 $500 Gary Easton Scholarship

Supported by the Michigan County Medical Care Facilities Council (MCMCFC), a coalition of 34 county-owned facilities across Michigan.

💰 $2,000 Helen Marker Memorial Scholarship

Awarded through Antrim County in recognition of her commitment to advancing her nursing education.

Courtney's dedication, hard work, and passion for caring for others embody the values we strive for every day at Meadow Brook. We are incredibly proud of her accomplishments and excited to see her achieve her goal of becoming an RN!
