Last week, we had the pleasure of attending the award ceremony for this year’s batch of Willbern Heritage Scholarship Foundation winners! Twenty-three college-bound grads earned $4,000 scholarships each for demonstrating academic excellence while working at least part-time. The future is bright with these grads! If you would like to support next year’s scholarship recipients, mark your calendars for our next Rotary Scholarship Wine Dinner on Saturday, September 19, 2026! All proceeds go directly to scholarships! 🧑‍🎓🎉

The Wilbern Heritage Scholarship Foundation is pleased to announce that we are awarding 23 students with scholarships of $4,000.00 to pay for college tuition as they pursue their dreams.

Please join us in celebrating these hard-working students on Thursday, May 7 from 4:30-6:00pm at Prosperity Bank (5501 Bissonnet St. Houston, TX 77081).

Our team was out and about this weekend deploying “Flags Over Bellaire” flags to get ready for Presidents’ Day! A huge thank you to all of our flag subscribers for their support! The unofficial #5 of The 4-Way Test: “Is it fun??” We sure did have fun at our Bellaire/SW Houston Rotary Club Holiday Party, hosted by the incredible Jennifer and Adam Heghinian! From our special guest, District Governor Tom Kelchner to the to die for brisket cooked by host, Adam, we had FUN and ate well! Thank you, Ann Magoon, for organizing this special event. It was our honor to support the memorial Butterfly play structure put up at Joe Gaither Park to honor the life of Blakely McCrory. A beautiful butterfly release was the perfect touch to celebrate this special occasion in the community. 🦋
