We had the opportunity last week to host teen mamas in our space through here at the Inn and it was an absolute blast! We took the ladies to Torch Lake, hiked Coy Mountain, painted with watercolors, hosted a cooking class & so much more.

It was SUCH a gift to be able to pour into their lives - even just for a few days. YoungLives is an amazing program, and we are so grateful for the chance to partner with them to lift up young women in our community.

And a big thank you to all of YOU who supported us to make this happen! It was such a fun time, and we can’t wait to make this an ongoing partnership.

Next up: September’s retreat for 12-16 year old survivors of human trafficking/sexual exploitation right here in Michigan. If you’d like to sponsor a survivor for $35/month to join us to keep our programming 100% free for her, visit the link in our bio. ❤️✌️

Ladies!! Join us February 23rd & 24th for the IF:Gathering 10 year anniversary simulcast here at the Inn! Tickets are $175 and come with accommodations for the night, snacks and drinks during the sessions, continental breakfast, a boxed lunch, and your IF conference ticket (with access to sessions after it’s over!). We are so grateful to be able to wake up in this beautiful space every morning, knowing that it has become such a healing center for survivors of human trafficking. Thank you all again for making this happen for us - we couldn’t have done it without you!

We’re heading to Patagonia October 2024, and we want you to join us!

We host one annual Freedom Summit per year for the public - climbing physical mountains as the representation of the emotional and spiritual mountains survivors of human trafficking are climbing on their individual healing journeys.

The deets:
- $3,535 per person, covers everything but a few meals & your flights
- We’re staying in eco lodges - no camping!
- Includes pack rafting, kayaking, hiking, and white water rafting in one of the most beautiful places on earth
- Trek starts October 29th, ends November 6th
- This is our chance to raise $15,000 next year to pay for 3 holistic wellness retreats for survivors in 2025 and set us up for success
- We’ve only got 12 spots!

Merry Christmas, everyone! Joel & I are feeling so blessed this year by your generosity and the incredible things we’ve been able to experience with survivors across the country. 2023 took us to Banff, California, Alaska, Kentucky, and Northern MI. We bought our first property for the nonprofit that’s totally perfect for our needs. We’re doubling our impact in 2024 because of it, serving more than 100 survivors of human trafficking. What a year. Thank you all so much for your support, your love, for sharing our posts and helping us reach our goals. We are so grateful for each of you & can’t wait to see what next year holds in our new home!

Friends!!! We have some big news. We did it!!! We have reached our $150,000 goal to make The Park Street Inn our home, and we couldn’t have done it without you. We’re still waiting for a couple of pledged checks to come in, but we are SO excited to see how this next chapter will play out for our organization. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, thank you, thank you. We are feeling so humbled & excited this morning. We could NOT have done this without you, and the magnitude of your generosity in this season is not lost on us. Here’s to continuing to plan 2024’s retreats for survivors of human trafficking!!

We’re here! 🎉 If you haven’t heard yet, Joel & I moved into The Park Street Inn last week. It has been so fun running this bed & breakfast, meeting so many new faces, and being able to share about our work with survivors in so many different ways.

We can’t believe we have our own retreat center, and we can’t wait to see how this space will bless survivors of human trafficking. Our first retreat is in November, and we’re SO excited.

Here’s the reality, though. We need our community now more than ever. We still have $50,000 to raise by the end of the year to make this space ours. Would you consider giving at the link in our bio to help us secure the Inn? Or! Better yet, come stay with us! Our reservation system is up & running, and we’re ready for guests. We especially need you to stay with us this winter - November through March - so we can keep the lights on. Thank you all so much for making this space happen, because of you, we will be serving nearly 100 survivors & safe house staff from 8 different safe houses in 2024. ❤️

We've had the absolute gift of working with 45 survivors from Michigan and our safe house partnerships across the country this year and love hearing this kind of response to our time together!

As you may know, we now have the opportunity to take THREE safe houses off of our waitlist for 2024. All three safe houses serve young girls between the ages of 12-16 who have been trafficked. All three are right here in Michigan.

Today is the LAST DAY OF JUNE! And if we don't raise an additional $6,063.36 toward our goal with our June National Outdoors Challenge, the reality is that we can’t move forward with these safe houses.

Would you consider helping us reach this big goal so that we can take these safe houses off our waitlist?

We spent time in Louisville with an incredible partner program & their clients earlier this month, and it was so. incredibly. fun. One of the women cried when she left. Another threatened to hide in one of the *many* bedrooms of our cabin so she didn’t have to go home. It was a weekend of intense laughter, tears, big hugs, and deep connection.

We have the opportunity to take not one, not two, but THREE safe houses off of our waitlist next year. All three serve young girls between the ages of 12-16 who have been trafficked. All three are right here in Michigan.

The reality is that we can’t move forward with these safe houses if we don’t raise an additional $7,500 toward our goal with our June National Outdoors Challenge. We have SEVEN. DAYS. LEFT.
