Thank you to all 37 of you that gave blood in yesterday's Community Blood Center of the Ozarks Drive at Allen's. You SHATTERED our goal of 26 units, and you may well have helped save a life right here in our area ❤️ Today from 2-4:30 is the 5 city Northwest Arkansas Challenge with John Flynn and I manning the bells and kettle for the Salvation Army. My family volunteered at the Salvation Army in Detroit when I was growing up, and continued helping in their local Tampa, Florida, Soup Kitchen every Wednesday until their late 80s, so I've believed in it my entire life. PLUS we want Bella Vista to win the "Challenge" again, as we did last year. We'll happily take your donation by credit or debit card through the checkouts all day Thursday if you'd like a receipt, and we'll add it to the kettle at 4:30 if you'd rather 😀 BTW, Lisa Ferguson will be playing Christmas Carols inside Allen's from 2-4 on Saturday, so I've included a little clip I recorded while she was here Wednesday, in the first comment.
