Calico Cutups Quilt Guild

Calico Cutups Quilt Guild Our purpose is to bring together people who are interested in quilting for education, fellowship and service. Our meetings are lively, friendly and informative.

Calico Cutups Quilt Guild was founded in 1991 for the purpose of uniting quilters and other textile artists in Northwest Arkansas. We meet each month to learn, teach, and develop friendships through the common thread of quilting. Each monthly meeting includes a guest speaker, a local vendor and often a special class or workshop. Members bring their finished quilting projects to share during Show-a

nd-Tell. Visitors are welcome and encouraged to join our guild. Membership is $30 per year. Our small groups are designed to offer a wide variety of special interests. Members are encouraged to join a group to learn quilt basics, a new technique, improve individual skills, work on a group project and make new friends. As a 503 c3 not-for-profit organization, we support several national charities such as Quilts of Valor and the National Pillowcase Challenge. On the local level, we make pillowcases, lovies and quilts for the NICU and the Ronald McDonald Family Rooms at Mercy Hospital, pet beds for local animal shelters and Habitat for Humanity. Monies raised from our quilt shows, auction and Country Store are returned to the community through our scholarship program to encourage the study of fiber arts. Join us at 1:00 p.m. on the fourth Monday of each month (except May and November) at the St. Theodore's Episcopal Church, 1001 Kingsland Road, Bella Vista, AR, 72714. Everyone is welcome!
