When words come back to haunt you: "When Rizzo came in, in 1993, he was one of the lowest paid city managers in the state," said Saleh, who owns a fashion company and last year lost an election for city council. "Now he's the highest. It's not hard to understand what happened. He raised utility taxes, raised property taxes to the highest in the area, and pushed through a $70 million bond issue to fix the parks, but we haven't seen any of it." -Ali Saleh to ABC News (07/22/2010) - Now, 15 years after he was elected Ali has never once voted to decrease the Rizzo-era taxes, and yet they are trying to raise sales tax for the third time, while that park he talked about? It's still not done. Why wasn't a full park built? And why are property and utility taxes still so high after 15 years of his "leadership"?

And where is Quintana? Romero? Voting alongside the Mayor but staying silent when residents are raising their concerns?

The Democratic Party is NOT endorsing new taxes, measure BB. Its all a lie. Quintana and Romero are acting like Trump!

Its time to vote!! Your vote counts. 16 years ago and before the Bell Scandal it was the BRC that connected with the community and the dots that led to the exposure of massive corruption in the City of Bell. Today, we are back exposing the deceit and lies of current City of Bell Councilmembers, enriching their friends and themselves, or just staying silent.

Say NO to new taxes that will only make a bigger monster of the Police Department. You can only stay in power if you do as they say. Their political machine is making a mockery of the community, and you, with a Woofy (a dog) campaign for council, and supporting new taxes, BB measure. Caught you again!

You nasty, NAFARIOUS, political machine enabled by wealthy consultants, a wealthy Mayor and councilmembers Quintana, Romero and others staying silent. The other councilmembers are just waiting to be "cut-me-in", in real estate deals. We always knew that your astro- grassroots campaign named BASTA was a sham and used and lied to the good people of Bell to save your jobs. Now you want more in pension plans and you do very little for the community. Open your records, show the community the workers compensation injuries claims by the police officers while working for ICE.

More for City hall less in youth sports! They told the council years ago that keeping a police department for an area of 2 square miles was unsustainable. Maywood and Cudahy knew better.
