What we release from our mouths can wound our home and war against it. Choose life. Words are never empty; they carry spirit, intention, and power.
Scripture reminds us that the tongue can be fire, capable of warming a house or burning it down.
In moments of anger, frustration, pain, or exhaustion. It is easy to let harsh words fly.
But God calls His people to a higher way: a gentle spirit that reflects His heart. A gentle spirit is not weakness; it is strength under control, choosing restraint when emotions rise, and choosing wisdom when the flesh wants to react.
The Bible tells us, 'A soft answer turneth away wrath' (Proverbs 15:1).
Gentleness disarms anger; it creates space for healing. Shouting only deepens wounds. God is deeply concerned with how we speak to those closest to us: our spouses, our children, our homes. Let our speech be always with grace (Colossians 4:6)
Grace-filled words invite peace; they protect unity; they shut doors the enemy seeks to enter through unshakeable anger and reckless speech.
When we submit our tongues to the Lord.
We invite His Spirit to rule our hearts. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks (Luke 6:45).
As He softens our hearts, our words begin to carry life instead of destruction, blessing instead of fear.
Today is an invitation to pause, to pray, and to ask God to set watch over our mouths and teach us to speak with wisdom, patience, and love.
Our homes don't need louder voices; they need gentler ones, filled with truth and grace.
'Death and life are in the power of the tongue' (Proverbs 18:21).
Choose life!.
Ephesians 4: 31-32-let all bitterness, wrath, and anger, and clamor, and evil speaking, be put away from you... And be kind to one another tenderhearted forgiving one another.
All the Glory to the KING.
FATHER GOD please touch all the people struggling with this. You’re will LORD.
